I contacted Suburban via phone regarding possible issues with our hot water heater. After providing our current water heater info, they recognized our heater as a unit involved with a recall that had since expired. They suggested a replacement unit. A quote was provided over the phone. We were not in an emergency situation, however we were able to schedule an install for that week. The technician arrived on time and the installation was completed within a couple of hours. The tech left the area clean and the old unit was removed. We also received a free drip pan and water alarm with the Angie's List coupon.

Excellent response on an emergency call. Most impressed with the technician's attempt to talk me through several possible ''fixes'' to avoid the service call. When all else failed, a service call was required and during the visit the technician went over some basic maintenance to get the best performance from the unit.
