"I was able to look up this customer and contact her because I did not receive her messages regarding the issues she was having. After we compared the messages, she understood that I didn't get them and I immediately took care of the issues. She tried to amend or delete this review but was unable to so she said she will post another review reflecting the quick and positive response she received from me."
"This was left in error. I have spoken with the customer and it was unintentionally submitted. They have spoken with Angi multiple times to get it removed but it has yet to be taken care of. We will continue to try and correct this situation"
"I have been a contractor for over 20 years and every now and then you get a feeling from a customer that there is going to be a problem or that something is off. I had this feeling with this customer at the beginning and didn't listen to the warning signs. Knowing this, I included her in everything I was doing the whole time and she continually said she was happy with things. SHE PICKED OUT THE COLOR HERSELF and wasn't happy at the end with her choice and blamed me. As for the walls, I told her that I was not interested in taking care of it because she wanted to go over the wallpaper and I told her that is not the proper way to do it. She started crying and saying that her husband works all the time and cant do it and begged me to do it. I reluctantly gave in but explained that I will do my best but going over wallpaper is tough, especially with the peeling seams she had. Even though I was in constant communication with her and showing her the progress step by step with her continually giving me a "Looks great!" over and over, she blamed me for her unhappiness at the end. I offered to do what I could to help make her happy but she refused."
"This job is for a multi unit rental property and I had been out to take care of repairs for damage from the tenants and did not charge the owners even though it was not a warranty issue. They reached back out a month later and said there was more damage. At this point I explained that I can repair it without a charge but it would have to be on my schedule and it could be a couple of weeks before I'm in that area and he was fine with that. About 10 days later his partner calls and I told him that I was working on the schedule for the next 2-3 days and I'll let him know which day works. The next day I reached out to schedule and he said he was not willing to do so and left this review. I do what I can to work with people to not have to charge them for repairs, especially with rentals but I can't rework my schedule for issues that are caused by tenants without charging a fee. Most everyone is always ok with this and I have not had to charge anyone a fee for a repair yet but unfortunately this customer was not willing to work with me on this."
"When I reached out to this customer to see what issues he was having and how I could help, he told me that he was using the refinished bathtub to bathe his 2 large dogs. I explained that although the coating is very durable to normal use, dog nails (especially large dogs) can scratch or chip the finish. I have offered to repair the damage caused by the dogs."

"This customer was not living at the location the job was done at. She reached out to me later in the day that I did her tub and told me that some of the coating had run onto the drain. I explained to her that I can repair it but the coating has to completely cure which takes 48 hours. She was not happy because, again she was not living there. I tried to set up multiple times to get back there but she was not available any of those times. I was still trying to set something up with her when she posted this review. I will continue to try and make things right but I am not sure this customer will work with me on that."
"Unfortunately, this customer is basing her review on what she thinks will happen but has had no issues with the finish. I have been using the same product for tub refinishing for many years and have had great results. The finish is only available in a high gloss sheen and does not chip easily."
"Unfortunately, this customer is not being completely honest with how things went. The job was discussed before any work was started and I presented options for how the work could be completed. All the work was done according to our conversation and his choices. I use an industry standard, high strength coating and not paint or anything close to a paint. After the job was done, he was completely satisfied with the work and then much later, someone who was at his house mentioned a couple things to him about the tub. He then reached out to me about these issues and I offered to come and address them. We communicated via email and phone to set up a time for me to come out. When I arrived that day, he was not home and I was not able to contact him. He reached out to me the next day and apologized for forgetting our appointment. I have tried multiple times since then to set up another time but he has been unavailable every time. I was still currently trying to work with him when he posted this review. Although I try very hard to satisfy all my customers, sometimes that is just not possible unfortunately."
