Just Chimneys abandoned the project, leaving my chimneys in a dangerous state to operate. They did not pass inspection. Just Chimneys acknowledged that work was not done properly but have (after months of me trying to get in touch) neglected to do anything about it. It is been the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor.

Good communication; workmen were careful and neat with their equipment; shown photos and visited a nearby completed job first; our only recommendation is that you go over the color that you want in person at your chimney. Even our neighbors were impressed with the quality and professionalism of the work and said when they need chimney work, they won't look any further! A good price too.

While they offered a reasonable price and relatively good turn around time for the job, when a problem was encountered certain aspects of the work could not be completed, they became difficult to work with. Not being able to answer questions directly and not being able to produce a refund in a timely manner. The issue is not that the entire scope of the job couldnt be completed its that they began to deal with us dishonestly not demonstrating professionalism. We are still waiting for our refund.

As you noted, when your client changed the aspect of the job and a decision was needed because of your real estate closing requirement a solution was discussed and additional materials were to have been purchased, per your buyers request. Prior to the closing date, our office received a call stating that your buyer now doesn't want to buy the new materials but yet, after detailed discussions and emails they put our company in a precarious situation and wanted a refund. Thank you."

THIS IS ONE OF THE FINEST OUTFITS I HAVE DONE BUSINESS. THE OWNER, ED REALLY KNOWS STUCCO REMEDIATION. MY OLD STUCCO WAS VERY NICE BUT DID NOT PASS INSPECTION, ED'S COMPANY REMOVED IT, REMOVED AND REPLACED ALL THE ROTTEN WOOD AND INSTALLED COMPLETELY NEW STUCCO IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UP-TO-DATE SPECIFICATIONS. THIS WAS DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TIME I WAS GIVEN - IN FACT THE WORK WAS COMPLETED BEFORE THE TARGET COMPLETION DATE. ALL THE CREW WORKED HARD AND WERE VERY POLITE TO DEAL WITH--- A REMARKABLE COMPANY THAT WILL ASSURE YOU THAT YOU WILL BE SATISIFED WITH THEIR WORK!!!

I usually won't leave reviews but, Family owned business and the son Mark came out and went onto our roof gave us a detailed explanation of what work needed to be done. Wrote up the estimate within a couple of days after we agreed on the details and price they started within a week. Job turned out to be exactly what we agreed on and oh guarantees their work. (some for lifetime) No fuss NO MESS they did a great job. I spoke with the owner ED during and after the job was complete and they were right on the money with everything. Honest and reasonable. I will recommend to my neighbors and may have them do another similar project at our home.

Had a leaking chimney cap and brick joints. Just chimney's came out to review the job. I had pictures which they reviewed, and said were sufficient, but they never went on the roof. Got the quote and scope of work which seemed reasonable. I paid 50% up front to get on their schedule. Two workers came out and were there for about 2 hours. Sprayed the chimney with chimney saver and put fresh concrete on the cap. The contract stated the cap would be rebuilt not patched, and that bricks and joints would be replaced where needed as needed. Unfortunately the work wasn't completed to a level which stopped the leak. I asked the owner to come and review the work on the roof with me. He did and realized more need to be done with regards to tuck point the joints and replacement of bricks. After that I never heard from them again and now I have to complete the work myself. If your hire them, be very exact with what you want done and make sure you check their work.
