"Hi Mike, We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear you're dissatisfied with our services. Your primary reason for having us out was to resolve water intrusion in your basement, so our main objective was to manage the water in that area via our dual pressure relief system to create a safe, dry space. Per industry standards, the water collected by the system must be discharged somewhere. In your case, we directed it to a pop-up emitter approximately 20 feet from the house which is a common and effective method in most situations. However, groundwater conditions and water tables vary greatly from property to property, so it?s not possible to predict how much water will discharge over time or how well the yard will absorb it. When you expressed concern that the yard wasn?t handling the discharged water, we sent a technician to assess the situation and explore alternative options. Seeing the creek nearby, he recommended extending the discharge line to empty into it. However, because the creek is roughly 100 feet away, this solution would require additional piping/fittings and a significant amount of labor to complete, which is why a separate estimate was provided. Had this extension been completed during the original installation, it still would have incurred an additional cost, and if the pumps weren?t discharging as frequently, it may have been an unnecessary expense at that time. We're always willing to work with our customers to find solutions and we regret that you're unhappy with how things turned out.
