I would trust my home to Jon Zeller. He has done a few things for me in my home and I'm always exceptionally happy. He does beautiful work, I mean absolutely stunning. It's hard to find good contractors and when you find one they are worth their weight in gold. Jon did my two story foyer and it looks beautiful. Jon takes his time, does it right and treats your home as he would treat his own home. If they had an option for A++++ rating that's what I would give Jon. Not only does he do outstanding work, he's neat, clean and treats your home and you with the utmost respect. I never have to worry about any work Jon does because I know he takes such pride in his work. This man truly loves what he does and it shows in his work. I can't say enough good things about DZ contracting. If you need a good contractor my first choice would be Jon Zeller. He is awsome! I've always so happy with the work he's done for me. No, I'm thrilled with the work he's done.

He’s nice and punctual. He would get a schedule when he would be here and when he had to go. As far as the way he treated us was excellent. In fact, we had him come back a couple of other times. He’s the best contractor we’ve had out here.

Jon at DZ General Contractors did an awesome job. We were very impressed with how professional he was from start to finish. He made great suggestions and we took him up on them and couldn't be happier. He did the entire job in a timely fashion even with weather issues (rain a couple of days). His initial quote was spot on and he worked with us and made it easier for us to pay for the work he did. He is very trustworthy and was in constant contact with us throughout the whole process. He was always easy to get a hold of if we needed to. The patio and deck are beautiful and he did great quality work. We will recommend him to friends, family, neighbors, etc. We will be using his services again soon.

Another great job by DZ General Contractors. Jon did a complete gut remodel on two full upstairs bathrooms beginning in  November and ending in late December.  He did one bathroom after the other and everything went very well.  Jon is extremely professional, responsive, and skilled, and he does extremely high-quality work.  His tile work is particularly well done.  Both bathrooms are gorgeous and we are already planning our next projects with him.

After an exhaustive search for a contractor to build us a deck we chose DZ. Jon (the owner) does the work himself with a small but qualified team. We asked him to build us a deck on the back of our townhouse. It was a simple 18 ft wide by 13 ft long with a small landing for steps. All wood construction at our request with the exception of vinyl rails.
Very simply the work that was done was phenomenal. Each piece was perfectly cut and perfectly placed. He made a perfect notch out and removable panel for the hose bib and used 6x6 studs for the supports. Frankly, i think I could park a car on this deck and not stress the structure.
Jon even had a gate custom made, at our request and cost, to add a little bit of privacy since we dont have a yard per se.
In the end, I am extremely happy with this contractor.
We found a lot of shady contractors in our search, this guy was just good and honest start to finish. Unlike his competition who wanted 100% up front Jon only asked for a 5% deposit on signing, 45% to start and 50% on completion.
Best part: He dealt with the township inspector so I didn't have to. Handled all the permits and inspections.

Our second time with DZ, as the first job was so well-done. Jon was open to envisioning every part of our build and added several nice touches that we were unfamiliar with. The final project was on-time, mostly on budget, and exactly what we asked for. Jon is an EXCELLENT CRAFTSMAN, and detail oriented. He is an OUTSTANDING ALTERNATIVE to be considered when compared to the other higher-end builders in the area, and exceptionally reliable.

Jon and Mark from DZ in a nut shell are very competent proferssionals who go about there business in a very family freindly way. Jon took the time to explain in detail the various decking options, pros and cons of each, and was willing to provide alternate proposals for the various options. From the first visit, DZ was the only firm I contacted who followed up with phone call on the proposal. Jon kept me in the loop about the timing of the project, and always kept to his schedule or communicated any changes. Jon and Mark were great to have around the house, they are pet and kid friendly and accomodated our schedule. When our deck project took an unexpected turn, Mark and Jon stopped to explain the issues, developed a solution and were willing to discuss it with our real estate agent to insure the changes were to code. (which they knew and were dead nuts on about!). The extra charge for the extra work was reasonable and the estimate they gave both originally and as adjusted was equal to the final totals. I have yet to mention that the workmanship was outstanding and our finished Azak deck looks great. We could not be happier with the whole process, the work that DZ did and of course our new deck!
We would highly recommond DZ General Contractors for a new deck or any other project. They are top notch professionals and are project and thier workmanship turned out great.

Very timely and professional. Calls were promptly returned,research was done to find the right products and the job was done early!! having them come back to do more work.

Our township building inspector required detailed engineering drawings with calculated load factors, etc., in addition to basic plans. Mark and John complied without complaint and produced a an excellent final product. Not only were they professional, they were also pleasant to work with. We gave them a lead to another job for a family member, and will continue to refer work to them whenever possible. First-rate in every respect.

Another excellent job by DZ General Contractors. They always respond very promptly to phone messages and emails, and are very good at working with the client to make sure the end result is exactly what the client wants. They arrive when they say they will and finish on time, they are extremely professional and their work is first-rate. We are looking forward to working with them again in the future.

I hired DZ General Contractors LLC after the previous contractor walked away from the project when it was about 85% complete. DZ completed the project on schedule which included finishing the roof, the vinyl siding, and the deck railing. They also did some drywall removal and re-installation in order to fix a water leak. Mark Deusenberry was very professional and knowledgeable. I recommend this company very strongly.

From start to finish they did a great job. Their estimate was 1/3 of the estimate from another contractor. They came when they said they would (and called if they couldn't due to weather, etc). They dealt with problems as they came up (like the existing railing they hadn't planned to tear out that was not built to code) and involved us every step of the way. The deck was completed when they said it would be.

They did an excellent job. They arrived on time and took less time than estimated. They were really careful analyzing the overall situation. They were very responsive and the price was reasonable. I would recommend them to others. They put a new joist in and straightened the swivel for the post as well.

I'm very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work performed by Mark and his crew. He provided a written estimate with detailed scope of work and payment terms for the job. We had to provide plans to our Home Owners Association for approval and Mark had the plans to me in just a few days. The HOA took a while to approve the project, but Mark kept in touch to see how things were going. After approval by the HOA, Mark took care of obtaining permits from the township and kept me informed each step of the way. Once he received the permits, Mark called to schedule the work with us and gave us an estimated completion date, explaining the points where the township would need to do an inspection. The quality of workmanship was excellent and he finished on time with no budget surprises. I definitely recommend DZ General Contractors LLC!

I could not have asked for things to be better and have recommended DZ widely since. Mark and Jon went out of their way from the start - we ran into permit problems (our township is particularly prickly) and he helped us navigate what could have been a costly and difficult process for no extra cost - including providing the township extensive and detailed drawings to get our permit approved. During the build, he identified that the drawing I gave him (from another contractor) had erroneously measured the deck at 20' (a foot long), so he refunded us $350 in materials! He also pointed out some gaps in our siding after the old deck had been torn down and filled them for us. He convinced the code enforcement officer to forgo one item to ensure that the deck was more usable for us. Finally, the quality and the sturdiness of the deck was excellent - I think if a hurricane hit the house the deck would probably be the only thing left standing! We gave them a $200 tip - first ever!
