Our house was partially out of power in multiple rooms, Don and Jon was able to identify the issue (loose wire in one of the outlet) and resolve it in no time, I appreciate their help and timely resolution.

Job went fine, quick and efficient. Would definitely re-hire.

They were awesome! They were reliable, they cleaned up after themselves and we really appreciate them. I have used them for other projects as well. I will highly recommend them. They always go the extra mile. Price wise they might be more than their competitors but it is definitely worth every penny.

I tried on three occasions to hire him to install a generator box for our house.  The woman who answered the phone had lots of excuses, but after 3 strikes, I gave up.

Dave and his crew are always reliable, professional & courteous.  We have used them for many years for all plumbing needs.  They are wonderful and do great work!

Unfortunately, their services didn't correct the problem, but we knew there was a chance of that happening from the start. (We wanted to check the obvious first.) They are always prompt, professional and do a nice job.

This was our third time using this company. Each time they have been extremely professional and punctual. We did not ask for a quote for this service prior to the work being done and the cost was a bit higher than I had assumed it would be (though it was about half of what my wife thought it would be ... so there you go!) Dave and his team do an excellent job - I couldn't be more pleased with their work!

They arrived ahead of schedule, were very professional and cordial. Clearly knew what they were doing and didn't appear to second guess themselves. They quickly set upon removing the old appliance to assess the task at hand, installed a new outlet for the new stove and offered explanations as they worked. They then set up the new appliance and moved it into my kitchen (something I hadn't expected them to do) before hooking it up to the new outlet. It's their attention to the little details that impressed me. They cleaned their work area, set the clock on the new range, explained the bill, and finally offered a range of other services they provide. I thought the price was rather steep, but I am a believer in paying a good price for worthwhile workmanship. This certainly was very worthwhile. I think I have found my electrician/plumber!!

Dave was GREAT - his office staff is excellent - Downingtown Electric was the 4th electrician I called - all 4 were from Angie's List - His office personnel called me back right away - I explained what I needed done - they checked the schedule and I was put on the list for the same week.
Dave came out as scheduled - he looked at what we needed done - a quote was given over the phone - using my general description - and his price charged at the end of the work was the lesser amount. While he was here - my husband had him check the other outlets in the garage - (see What did the provider do) and Dave made those changes right away - and the additional charge was very reasonable.
He was very personable and friendly - I will use Downingtown Electric again.

They did excellent work. They are very expensive. They were professional and they were friendly.

Brian came out this morning at the expected time. He was friendly and professional. He quickly identified the problem and went to work. Easy and quick. Brian identified the underlying issue that caused the problem to beging with - the water pressure to the house. He checked the water pressure and it was over 100 psi which can cause a multitude of problems. He took pictures in order to prepare a proper estimate.
Brian did a final walk thru to make sure everything was cleaned up and in working order. As a woman, I'm always worried about being taken advantage of - but I absolutely have 100% confidence in Downingtown Electrical Plumbing Co.

Basically provided my opinions or thoughts above, but overall, we really appreciate D-town and the great service that they provide.

I called Dave on the phone and described to him the problems we were having. He was great about giving some ideas and pricing over the phone. He was able to send someone out the next day. Not only did they fix the problem (low water pressure in the shower), but informed us the part was under warranty, so we wouldn't have to pay for it. We also asked the technican if he could turn on the water to one of our outside spickets. Once he did, he noticed the water pressure throughout the house was low. He determined that a valve in the main water line leading into the house was broken and fixed it. All that for $200.

They did a beautiful job. My toliet had a slow leak apparently for years and had damaged the subfloor under the tile. Dave met with me to come up with a plan within a day or two after contacting the company. Dave and his crew removed the old vanity and vinyl tub/shower. They installed a new toilet, shower and installed a vanity that I had purchased. The crew is very polite and professional. They went to great lengths to keep the rest of my house clean and to clean up after themselves. A few weeks later, I had a vent fan installed and agin it was a very positive experience. My bathroom today looks like a completely different room. I am definitely planning to use them in the future

The initial assessment was that a specific part needed to be replaced. Since the part needed to be ordered, they circumvented the faulty part and used a temporary fix to get us heat right away - much appreciated. In a few subsequent visits, it was determined that another part needed to be replaced. Once the part was in, they installed the part and the heater was operational. While the initial estimate was a ballpark only of $200 - $400, the resulting cost was $600+. Despite the additional cost, I think the estimate was made in good faith and they cetainly spent the time necessary to fix the heater properly - warranting the additional cost.

They are very good. I've been using them for quite a long time and I'm very satisfied with them.
