Caripides painting is a 20 year old business that started in 1994 and has grown significantly and we have added many services to our repituer.We focus on all of our customers needs and we give the customer 110 percent and no job is to small and in important.We cover all aspects of painting Int./Ext. Deck/House staining,Drwall repair, restorative services -water damaged, older homes, and log cabins, basemet/garage floor epoxy and water proofing of Vertical/horizontal surfaces.We even will organize your basement/garage and custom install shelving to make your life stress free.Also offering light carpentry, when we are finished and your project is a success, we can dispose of any and all paints that you want to dispose of.Any debris/ building materials that we can despose of or recycle/donate will be distributed through proper channels.Your house is then cleaned up and resored to its original order.

The initial work went really well until early in 2017. The garage floor paint started chipping in early 2017. I had Greg Caripides come out to view prior to the one-year warranty expiring. He confirmed that it would be covered under warranty. Greg asked me to reach out to him when the weather warmed up to come out and perform the work to repaint the garage floor. I've called and emailed numerous times with no response. You can check my messages through Angie's List. I also left about 8 voicemails between the office and mobile phone numbers and never received a return call from Greg.

It went well, but about 6-8 months later it started peeling up. Greg came out and said he would cover it under warranty as I wanted to make sure he saw it prior to being a year later so that it would be under warranty. It was winter and not ideal to repaint. Greg said to contact him in the summer and he would come out and repaint. I have been calling him for over two months with no reply. I have left multiple voicemails on his cell phone and on his company land line. It is now late August 2017 and I have not heard anything from this company. I would not recommend using this company!!!! Greg puts on a very nice front to land the job, but he has no loyalty to his customers after the work is done and he is paid. Greg was not the least expensive quote I got, but I felt like he would give the best service and I was wrong. Please don't fall for it like I did and go with another painting company.

We are thrilled with Greg and his crew.  Polite, professional, and efficient.Our home is for sale and we needed help!  Greg came in, we showed him what we were thinking and a plan was made.  Greg came up with ideas that we hadn't thought of and went to work.  He has great energy and does a fantastic job.  We know our home is now more appealing than ever and a buyer will come and snap up our house...it's made such a difference. We plan to call Greg when we move into our new home and have work that needs to be done.

So glad I joined Angie's list and Caripides Painting!!!

Greg and his partner were very punctual and efficient.  He's very responsive and friendly as well.  There were no significant problems to resolve and everything went very smoothly.  I would gladly employ him again for any future needs.

Two hard working guys that knew what they were doing.  Should have contained dust from sanding the walls, but it just required us to do a little dusting we probably needed to do anyway. 

Asked for an estimate on an additional job but have not heard back.  I'm guessing we have an unresolved email problem we experienced prior to, and during, the job.

Greg is an excellent painter and very good at making suggestions for paint choices. I was refreshing a house that was part of an estate. Greg was able to bring items to the dump and charity. He helped make suggestions for paint and was able to fix cracks in the ceiling and walls. He is very detailed oriented and extremely neat. and efficient. He was also able to install new light fixtures and bathroom vanity.  Greg had great suggestions that made a large project less overwhelming. He also recommend Scott Ramsey of Ramsey Contracting, LLC (484) 883-0120 who renovated the family room, removing the outdated beams, paneling and kitchen cabinets separating the room. Scott rewired outdated electrical and installed an oven vent. They were both easy to work with and able to work together to get the final project complete. It looks great and plan to use both again.

Greg was fabulous! He was able to work with our tight schedule since we wanted the rooms painted before we moved into our new home. He was an excellent communicator and he and his assistant worked very quickly. They were extremely neat and even did some additional caulking.

We hired Greg to remove the old and hideous wallpaper in our master bedroom and vanity area. Greg was a true professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and all around great guy who plowed through the work even though the removal was more difficult than originally anticipated. His assistant Matt was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Both gave us great tips on finishing the rooms. We would definitely hire Greg again and recommend him to our family and friends.

"Customer was very flexible and accomadating through the who.e project.One day my helper was not available and customers son helped me reposition a large bed/frame.Project was completed 1/2 day over schedule and customer was okay with the delay due to wallpaper removal, I explained that some paper takes longer to remove."

Greg did a very solid job and we would hire him again.  He did seem to be in a rush at times, and there was a lot of residual dust in our bedroom as he did not cover all of the furniture.  But overall, he was a good painter and very creative. The minor issues we experienced would not keep us from hiring him again or referring him to others. If you are a good communicator and comfortable with setting clear expectations and giving your painter feedback during the process, Greg is a good match for you. If you want someone who just paints and doesn't make conversation, he may not be the best fit.  But for us, he was a pleasure and we will definitely contact him again.

He does a whole lot of things.  He pays extreme attention to detail.  He uses quality materials and is very good at making things look really good.  He is there for doing the work and the person who has worked with him is very well supervised and does a great job.  They were on time, courteous, and clean.  I would actually leave my house with him in the house.  He is trustworthy and very rare.  He is related to my next-door neighbor.  Other people in the neighborhood have used him too.  He is really good.  He wasn't cheap, but was worth it.  I think I could have gotten it done cheaper.  We will be using him again to do a little bit of carpentry, install a new sink top in our bathroom upstairs, and for some painting and wallpapering.
