"We sincerely apologize that you had such a poor experience with us at Balla Custom Services. We completely apologize for the problems you encountered when choosing us to remodel your bathroom. We do take full responsibility and recognize that these experiences must have been very frustrating for you as a homeowner. This is not an excuse, but just be assured that the subcontractor used to run your job was fired 3 weeks after your job was completed. We realized that the quality of services he provided did not match with what we expect to be delivered and only wish we would have caught this before he was allowed to work on your project. I hope that you can recall that we had done everything in our power to offer follow up and reconciliation for the insufficient quality work that you received. We hope to remind you of those follow ups in the following paragraphs which you did not make any mention of in your review. We must have different information on how long this project extended past August 2014. Our final invoice went to you and final payment was received was on 8/25/2014, we did not perform any work within your home in September or October. I, Brent Balla the owner, personally had conversations with both Mike & Lisa during the project and they expressed how happy they were with the work being done. I made the mistake as the owner to assume that everything was perfect. If at any point before, during or after the project you were unsatisfied we were not notified which is why this is all coming as a shock to us. We welcome client feedback at all times during a project and prefer to hear from you if something is disappointing to prevent miscommunication such as this months later on a social media outlet. We were sure that you heard us when we stated that we have a full 12 month warranty on all services and products that we install. Our office did not get a call back to fix anything, until February this year when Mike happened to be delivering a container to another job that Balla Custom Services was doing. There I talked with him and he expressed to me that he was not happy with the quality. His exact quote was “I took care of the problems myself, lucky for you and bad for me.” My response was “You know we have a warranty, and you can call us at any time to come back and fix anything”. Mike’s response was “It doesn’t matter now, I already fixed it”. In the middle of March, Mike called in our office and requested that we come out and fix the water leak from the shower. A “Quality Control” follow up appointment was scheduled for Monday March 30, 2015. I arrived there approx. at 11:30am prepared with plumbing parts and tools as well as drywall & spackle tools. I worked on fixing the leak and eventually got the leaks fixed. I then began to patch the drywall on the first floor that was damaged, I put on 3 coats of spackle. Then Mike said “You don’t need to finish that, I will, besides I want to repaint the ceiling anyway”. I asked Mike again if that is what he wanted and he insured me that it was. I cleaned up all my tools and materials and we walked outside. Mike said to me that he really appreciated me coming back and fixing this (for free), and I told him that is what we do at Balla Custom Services, and it is was not a problem at all. We are here and available to correct our mistakes and we do not force ourselves into a client’s home if they express that they do not want us to follow up any longer. In conclusion, I truly apologize for this situation and wish that you had a better experience with us. We do value your feedback and will use our shortcomings to improve in the future.
