Gary's Tire & Auto

We have used this company before with not problems. However this time we purchased four tires (they are used and cost $120 which is why the price is rated so well). We drove the car about 12 miles home and parked it because of the storm. When my boyfriend attempted to drive it to work on Monday (two days later) he got about two miles from home before the drives side front wheel fell off the car. He, thankfully, was uninjured however the car went about 200ft on just it's rotor and chewed up the fender. We went straight to Gary's and tried to explain what happened. He told us that because we got the car home and because the wheels were aluminum it was out fault for not checking the lugs. He was defensive and hostile and refused to help us. I feel it is necessary to explain that we never even got to tell him what we wanted, which was the money for a fender from the junkyard and a new rotor (less than we spent on the tires in the first place). I felt enraged and powerless. One of us could have been injured or worse because of negligence and when we approached him about it we were dismissed. I will never go there again nor would i recommend him to anyone I know. The cheap tires are not worth what it could have cost us.
