It went so perfectly. Chris and his crew were on time and very professional, and methodical, paying attention to every single detail. I have never had a renovation of this scale done before (installed a bay window) and so thought a simple thing. Wrong! This was a top notch, "pure d" remodel that not only gave me the results I wanted from inside the house, but gave me way more than expected from the outside. The new window flows seamlessly into both the interior and exterior of the house and it looks like the house was designed that way. I have planned a few more projects with Chris for the coming YEARS!!! His pricing was very reasonable considering the expertise, commitment and care he brings to the job. I wrote the review dated January 19, 2016.  Since that time, Strictly Windows contacted me to replace the broken window.  It has now been installed, so the problem was resolved.

Chris and his crew were thorough, communicative, and knew their trade. Rarely have I been so at ease in an encounter with a contractor and been this pleased with the results.
 After I initiated contact, Chris got back to me within a couple of hours. Already, this puts Strictly Windows ahead of a great many professional contractors in the Schuylkill County area, who are notorious for calling you back weeks after the event or not returning phone calls at all. Within a couple of days he came to my house, did a thorough exam of the doors and windows needing replacing, asked me questions about what I was looking for, told me options, and gave me a quote. The price was reasonable for what I was getting, considerably better than the contractors sent out by Home Depot and Lowes.
The install was set for last Thursday, but with rain in the forecast, Chris called me a day ahead of time and asked to reschedule. No guessing games or missed appointments here. He and his crew came early the next morning and worked long into the afternoon. Even when they ran into the sorts of complications common to the old houses of this area (one wall thicker than the other, floors bowed, etc...) they handled them with aplomb. In the process of installing the new windows and doors, they founded and corrected a leak in the flashing and caulking of the window, rebuilt part of a door jamb and fixed a warped section of floor. They made no attempt to renegotiate the price upwards for these complications. 
Chris and company were very courteous to my property, cleaning up after themselves thoroughly. They were also very friendly and happy to explain everything that was going on. 
I should note also that their product is also of high quality. They sell only Okna windows, which are some of the best in the industry. The doors and windows were smooth, clean, and free of dents, scratches, and dings.

Initial contact is always quick, but trying to pin it all down can be a bit slow because Chris is so popularly busy! When he arrives for a job they are thorough, prompt, and efficient. Goes over everything again to assure it is correct. I am always confident in their work.

Chris came over and gave me an estimate and explained the new windows and all its features in detail. He gave me a price and I put down a deposit and ordered the window, I expected the final cost to be higher as it usually is when a contractor does work, the "o by the ways". Six weeks later we scheduled a day for him and his guys to come out and replace the window, they did a great job and they cleaned up very well not leaving much evidence behind of their work. When it was time to give him the check his price was exactly the same as his estimate. Very satisfied with the work and professionalism, will definitely call Strictly Windows in the future for my window needs. I have also referred them to my friends.

From the initial sales contact through completion of the project, Strictly Windows did an excellent job.  The owner is involved in every phase of the project and: (1) Provided a fair no-nonsense price quote; (2) Oversaw and worked on the installation of high quality windows; (3) Insured homeowner satisfaction with each and every window and door installed.  I had nearly 30 windows replaced and each day they meticulously cleaned up and removed all the old windows and frames that were replaced.  There were no added charges for necessary wood replacement around a few older window frames
After very very cold winter, the windows have performed well and there have been no unexpected problems.  I would definitely recommend Chris and his crew to anyone replacing windows or doors.

Installation was an excellent experience. Chris (the owner) came out himself to replace the windows. He was very professional and we have already decided to call him to replace the other windows in the house in a couple months.

They were super. Windows are extremely good quality and the installation was better than my best expectations. They actually came on a Saturday to do the install to be less disruptive. There were 2 small holes in screens that were fixed quickly. They were terrific from start to finish. Very highly recommended.

The whole procedure was easy from the first phone call to the actual work. All quotes were made with no surprises later. Phone calls were returned quickly or answered immediately. Samples were available to check the style of window. The work was well done with no damage to the old frames. We will Definitely employ them again!

I called Chris and he came out, measured my windows, gave me a brochure of the product and handed me an itemized receipt of the work to be done.  He told me that he would beat any other quote by 10%.   I checked around at one other place that I came across which claimed to be cheaper but they did not have the quality product that Chris was offering. So I went with Chris.  He and Bob came back a few weeks later with the windows after I got a building permit and they installed the windows.  Chris showed  me how to take out the windows and he asked me if I wanted trim around the windows.  They left absolutely no mess and the windows were clean and function beautifully.  I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a quality product at a fair price installed with skill and a professional attitude.

Process went very well. Very professional. On time.They were done in less than 2 days. Very nice people. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone. We are very happy with our choice and the results.

Decided to have two windows put into my kitchen,because one was cracked two places and they were just old!  I was happy when Chris immediatly called me before any other company. Was NOT pushy, I hate that! I was also happy that he agreed to do only two windows!
This is all my budget could handle!  Anyway. He showed up exactly when he told me he would. and had the job done in two hours.
They cleaned up everything and vacumed.(Considered having him do the whole house! LOL) He was very professional and very friendly. The quality is great. He told me if anything isn't right, I was to call him.  I would have him back to do the other windows someday. Great Job!!!

I was very happy and satisfied with everything that was done at my home by Strictly Windows.  Chris Wertz and his righhand man Bob were extremely professional.  He had me go out and look at the windows as he was putting them in.  His motto "If the customer is'nt happy than I'm not happy".  This was a very much needed job, as my home is a 1965 rancher with the original wooden windows of 12 panes.  I did'nt have to worry about what to do with the old windows, because they took care of everything and got rid of everything that I did'nt need.  I would certainly recommend Strictly Windows to everyone and they would be the first one to call for any future work done on my home.

Chris came quickly after my call to walk me through the job.  He was on time and prepared with brochures and prices.  After getting my information of what we would like him to do.  He measured the windows to be replaced then asked what we would like and gave his professional input about style, size, color and cost of what we should replace our old windows with. Prior to him leaving we had agreed on what we should put in and the cost.  He wrote up the estimate for first we only wanted the basement windows after talking about the situation my wife and I decided to call Chris back a second time to not only do the 4 basement put 2 large picture windows and a casement kitchen window.  Chris's company is very far from my home (approx 1.5 hours away) but through Angie's list I found him and wanted to hire him and his team. Chris came all the way back to my home and measured the other windows to be replaced as well.  He informed me that after the first meet we can add the other windows onto the original order and get them the same time. All he requested was 30% down to begin the process of our job. This was only a few weeks for the windows to be made and he had no control over this length of time.  Once the windows were made he called to set up a time and date for install and it was only one or two days from the time of windows being made.  Chris and Bob were professional, courteous and meticulous about every part of the job, they did nothing that wasn't agreed upon without consulting me. Chris even matched the capping style of the windows to the others in the house.  The look changed into not only "new" windows but the four hopper basement windows became four slider windows and  the two very large 70's picture window became triple double hung units and the crank out kitchen window became a double hung all more energy efficient so much better looking and working.  From estimate which was right on and never changed to clean up and pull out of my driveway everything was done exactly how he promised it would. They came in two days windows out windows in paid and gone, even when heavy fog set in the one morning he called to let us know he was coming.  This is what a business man is all about  they Chris and Bob never stopped never sat down one was doing one thing the other was doing something else.
