Manicures/Nails
While I was waiting to get a pedicure, the girl came to fill the foot bath for another customer. There were things floating in the water that she just scooped out with her hand and flicked onto the floor. This made me wonder how often, if ever, they clean the foot baths, but certainly not between customers based on what I saw.
I received my pedicure. The girl had tools on a small plastic cart that she used to trim and cut my nails. I assumed she cleaned them before using them on me until I saw her use them, uncleaned on the next girl who was sitting next to me. It made me wonder if they ever sterilize the tools they use to cut people's toenails and ingrown toenails.
She pulled a shaver out from under a towel and used it on my feet, and then she put it back under the towel. She did not clean it other than to shake off the skin. Then I watched her use that same tool on the girl next to me without even rinsing it off.
So if you're looking to get a pedicure with tools that are not cleaned between customers, this is the place to go!
