RG Petty was hired to do a quick repair on some roof damage that occurred during a storm. They were very helpful, courteous and did the repair quickly. We trust their work and know of their fine reputation. We will definitely hire them again.

After the work was performed I haven't had another leak. 

The company performed repair of concealed structural damage, caused by adjoining wet soil over the period of many years. The problem was that we were dealing with situation without knowing precise scope of work. The mechanical part - the removal of the damaged structural lumber and its replacement was done in highly professional manner. Whenever a small change was involved, - that was an extra $ 1,000.-.  The job involved excavation, placement of 4" drainage pipe ( about 110 Ft. long) to the depth around 3 to 4 ft., and finally, a backfill and a landscape. That job R.G. Petty sub-contracted to J. Buranich Excavating. They did a very nice job on the excavations, laying of the drainage pipe, but a very lousy job on backfill and landscape. It will take me either to hire a Professional Landscaper to do it all over and spend additional $3 - $4 thousand, or work on it myself, little by little, for several future years to resolve this problem. I have complained to R.G. Petty and they were here, and worked a few times, from 30 to 50 minutes. That did not do much to the resolution of this problem. My advise to to future customer is: make sure you know what scope of the work you need put it on the paper, have it signed, no changes, no landscape or excavations. Chances are then, - you may be a happy customer!

The Pettys were so fair, courteous, and prompt and delivered such quality work. We are so happy with the finished product. They worked with us to get our ideas into our budget. They offered creative ideas which allowed us modify our home to be very accessible and full of quality and style. We were a little lucky we agreed to them with our contract since we were light on contractor knowledge. But we had a feeling they were the right fit because they always returned calls, showed up for appointments and delivered what was promised.
