Changed plants from Architect's suggestion. They did poorly. Could not get him to come out and redo. Nice guy but avoid.

I was connected with Gregg based on the recommendation of our landscape architect. He was prompt and responsive which was a significantly different experience than some of the other landscapers I contacted. He was very low pressure, basically NO pressure. He seems to really enjoy his career and I got the sense he would probably do this stuff for free if that was realistic.
He gave me a quote on my entire project as designed by the architect broken up into a few phases to make it a bit more budget friendly. It was competitive as compared to other quotes I received but I went with Gregg due to the architect recommendation and the sense that he would do a very high quality job. We ended up proceeding with about 2/3 of the project (cleanout, front and side yards) and saving the backyard planting for later.
The start of the project was somewhat behind schedule due to largely weather related delays but was not excessive and Gregg was pretty good about keeping me posted on the status. Our apple trees were an overgrown disaster, they look great now. Our lawn is lush and green and was done with seed rather than sod (people have trouble believing this). Some of the plants died despite aggressive watering (they were planted in the midst of a very hot and dry stretch at the end of summer) but I'm confident Gregg will work with us to correct this in the spring. The project took a bit longer to complete than initially quoted, but it wasn't excessive and was about what I expected it to be. I was charged exactly what the initial quote was for.

It went well. They were prompt. It lasted about an hour at most. The area looked much better after they had worked. All the services were excellent.

Communication was difficult at times, but that's only because their services are in high demand. Aside from this, everything turned out well. Gregg and his crew did a quality job, were professional and friendly, and even helped me with other tasks when they finished the clean up early.

I had a master plan prepared by a landscape designer. Gregg gave me reasonable advice when deciding on the scope of work and the choice of plants. He promptly provided an estimate, which substantially undercut the competition. The work was done on schedule. Gregg checked on the placement of each tree with me. He and the team were a pleasure to work with. He checked in with my by phone and returned my calls ASAP. A+

The work was performed on schedule and completed in a professional manner. Greg Friday is easy to work with and his knowledge of design and plants is superb. I have recently moved and will use him at our new home. He came out immediately and without hesitation in one of the heavy snow storms and rescued two of our large wall hanging plants.

Greg was very knowledgable and suggested landscaping appropriate to our shady lot. He performed the work as scheduled. His crew was efficient and cleaned up well. All beds were planted, mulched and we have enjoyed the plants for several seasons. Greg staged the plants so that something is always in bloom and we love the whole yard now.

They use to come more often, but now they only come once a month. I am happy with that, though. They are very professional and they do good quality work. They are a little expensive, but they are worth it. I would definitely recommend them.

THEIR GOOD: VERY PROFESSIONAL, PUNCTUAL ONCE THE APPOINTMENT IS MADE, EXCELLENT DESIGN, WORKS WITH YOU TO CHANGE THE SCOPE OF WORK, HAS A GOOD AESTHETIC SENSE FOR COLORS, IS PASSIONATE ABOUT PLANTS. THEY CAN-BE-IMPROVED: TAKES SOME TIME TO GET ON THEIR SCHEDULE, THEY TEND TO BE VERY BUSY, THEY TEND TO BE VERY COSTLY.

GREG FRIDAY IS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH. YOU HAVE TO KEEP AFTER HIM TO GET ON THE SCHEDULE. 98% OF WORK WAS DONE IN MAY AND WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR A FEW DETAILS TO BE FINISHED. WE HAVE NOT BEEN BILLED, HOWEVER, FOR THE REMAINDER.

GEOFF FRIDAY WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED, KIND, COURTEOUS, PUNCTUAL AND EASY TO WORK WITH. OUR SNOW REMOVAL WAS DONE IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER, WITHIN 4 HOURS AFTER WE PLACED A CALL TO THEM. WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH FRIDAY LANDSCAPING.
