The bathroom was corrected but they were sloppy in their work and I would not use them ever again. The kitchen work was a sadder story. They told me that they could change the edge of my counter from bevel to round so I would never have to wory about chips again. I agreed to have them do that for $750 more, this is before I realized they were only sealing my counters. They said they had a special machine with a vacume that they used and it took 2 people to do the job, Thye came in with a grinder and a shop vac. They said they would show me a one foot sample. I left the room. I came back in because the dust was everywhere in the air. In a one foot sample, they managed to create so much dust you couldn't see - that is when I saw it was a shop vac. And the edge was not round, it was just more beveled. I have 65+ feet of counter If they had done the work it would have destroyed my heating system, I would have had to have every rug in the house cleaned- as it was, I am still trying to clean the dust from the 1 foot he did. A home is not a place to do thsi work but they didn't let me know what was involved and implied they do thsi all the time. It was a terrible experience
Description of Work: They provided the material for the granite and marble in my new bathroom. The granite was fine but the marble slabs to be used around the shower were cut wrong and were unfinished with edges that were cracked and rough. My contractor had to take tehm back and get them to do it again. before that occurred they taked me into refinishing my kitchen granite counters, They said they would poolish them up and restore them to brand new finish and fix all the wear and chips on the edges. What they did was They sealed it with a rag by hand - no polish and it looks the same. I seal it myself and they did nothing I can't do but they charged $250 for it. Toital misrepresentation of services.
