The neighborhood and the people who live here are wonderful, it is a great family neighborhood. Everyone is very friendly and its a great place to live. Southdown Homes may be a victim of their own success. It was extremely difficult to get the 30 day check list completed because homes scheduled for settlement took precedence over our punch list items. The people at Southdown Homes are nice...but nice only gets you so far when you want things corrected. With that said we had two issues which were emergency items and those were resolved immediately. (Garage door fell off the track and air conditioning unit was not level after all the soggy weather). If I were to build again with SDH or had a friend doing the same I would make darn sure everything was move in ready and not close until everything was completely finished based on the fact that scheduling those little punch list items is difficult.
