They did an excellent job. They knew to watch out for my cats and not to accidentally lock them in a closet or a room because . It was nice to come home to a clean house. They would even pickup after the kids if and cleaned the kids rooms. Amazing work.

The ladies who came to the house did a wonderful job cleaning and were extremely nice. They spent approximately 4 hours at our house and it looked wonderful after they left. That being said, coordinating the time and date seemed to be more challenging than necessary. After purchasing the deal, I had to send a reminder email to check when they could come. This was after 2 of the possible dates I had suggested. Once the date was set up, I was told that I would get a reminder call to confirm that the cleaners were coming in the morning on the date agreed on. I did mention when making the appointment that I had another commitment at 10:00 but that it was just around the corner. On the date of the service, it got to be 9:30 and the cleaners had not arrived so I called to confirm that they were coming. I was told they would be there in 30 minutes, at 10:00. I explained that when setting up the appointment that I told them I had another commitment at that time. They were accommodating and came after the appointment. I also indicated that a phone call indicating that they were running late would have been appreciated. I understand that when cleaning (and again, the cleaning was spectacular) that things get moved around, but I noticed some things that were a bit disappointing after they left. My son's crib which was intact when they came was now coming apart at one of the corners and one of the screws was in the actual crib, the cable remote had been dropped and the front cover was not attached to the back (easily put back together), the Internet extender had been knocked out of the wall and now only works intermittently. There were also some cleaning rags and a Wawa cup left behind.

"We offer a sincere apology to this Angie’s List member. We do our best to be on top of things each day and run our business in a professional manner and sometimes things do not go as perfectly as we would hope. The member expressed that “coordinating the time and date seemed to be more challenging than necessary” and two of the suggested dates had passed. This was our first experience using the Big Deal process and we were unaware that the members could suggest dates of service. After seeing this I re-read the Big Deal guidelines and did not see anything pertaining to this. We did our best to accommodate all Big Deal customers and we feel bad that this customer was frustrated with scheduling. We were not made aware of the items listed even occurred until this review. We would have certainly would have come back to correct the problem if she had notified us. The girls do not carry tools with them so we did not dismantle the crib in order to move it. If a screw was loose then moving the crib in order to clean behind it could have certainly loosened and helped the process. We would have certainly gone back to fix it if we knew there was an issue and the same with other items mentioned. We stand by all our reviews, good and bad. We do our best to be very responsive to our customers if any issues should occur. Since we were not informed until this review of the issues, other than scheduling, had occurred we could not respond favorably to them. We spoke to the maid about the coffee being left behind and a new policy has been put into place. Thank you , Maids and More"

They were great. John, an owner, came out the day before which I felt was very unique and very useful to assess my needs. They sent 2 people out for about 2 ½ hours. I felt it was a very thorough clean. John definitely shared the information with them. There were no additional fees associated with the deal. The regular price is $300 which I feel is too expensive. I asked for estimate for regular service and I haven't heard back.

"We would first like to thank this member for her review. We do our best to use the review as learning tool. We are sorry she felt that her home was not cleaned properly and to her satisfaction. We did offer to come back and satisfy her but she declined our offer. We would make that offer to anyone who would share a concern as she did. We send crews of two people to a home and the 60 minutes actually equates to 2 man hours or 120 minutes. The only other thing that we would like to correct is the amount shown as the cost of cleaning. The original cleaning was priced out at $149.00 for a big deal we ran and this member took advantage of. We spent a good deal of time during the cleaning 2 weeks prior to this one at a very reduced rate The second cleaning was not $140.00 as it appears in the review. The member was charged and paid $110.00 for that cleaning. We feel we handled the complaint properly and unfortunately we were not given the chance to correct the issues. We apologize again for your dissatisfaction and wish the outcome could have been different. Thank you, Maids and More"

They were just very thorough. I wish I could have afforded to get them regularly but with those prices, I can't. I guess the price was fair for the amount of time they spent and the thorough nature of what they were doing. They were really going in depth with everything. Based on everything, it probably was reasonable. It was good quality. They were right on time.

A great experience without complaints!
Maids and More was one the first to respond to my request for an estimate.
A professionally dressed gentleman, and part owner of the business, gave me a good understanding of the services that would be provided. He answered all of my questions, and later that evening emailed a terrific, and very fair quote! Especially, when compared to some of he others that I will mention later.

The very friendly and professional three person crew
arrived promptly on time. They were lead by one of the owners of the business who worked beside them, and just as hard. They were quite approachable and accommodating when I asked anyone of them a question. And, since I was informed that he had very strict hiring practices, I felt comfortable leaving them alone for awhile in my home while I went out to do some chores. I never thought twice about it.
As for tipping, the leader, and part owner of the business, would not accept a tip, even though she deserved one. However, the two cleaning assistants I graciously gifted them a moderate tip. On this line of thought, I did a little research before hand that said cleaning services do not have to be, nor do they expect to be tipped? I do not agree. I can only say that when hard working individuals provide a great service, especially when it involves dirty work, we should always tip.
Even though the job took longer than the three hour estimate, they stuck to the original quote. I was not asked to pay a penny more. Kind of important, is that the cost of all future cleaning visits will be reduced by about thirty percent. I learned while gathering other estimates that all cleaning services charge more for the first visit.

Speaking of estimates, Merry Maids wanted all most three times as much!
When it takes two people to give me an estimate who hand me an outrageous quote, I just have to share about it. Regardless of whatever reason the second person was tagging along, I felt like it was an extra cost that I'd be paying for, especially after getting such a high estimate from them. In addition, their quote was so ridiculous that if the service included roof repairs, gardening, and a back massage, I still wouldn't have accepted it!

We were, and remain, impressed with the owners. They were very responsive and are committed to customer service. Unfortunately, as time passed, we found the workers showing up nearly two hours late and rushing through the job. The quality began to deteriorate over time. In discussions with the owners, it became clear that no resolution was available. We terminated service.
