I had a burst pipe that saturated my laundry room and flooded the basement below. All electric, gas and water had to be shut off completely for safety reasons. I was referred to Joe Farley by a local electrician and it was the best decision ever to give them a call. I spoke to Joe, Sr. And he had Joe, Jr show up the next morning. He did such a thorough review and pointed out potential safety hazards with my water heater, water shut off valve and other issues. He took care of the priorities that needed to be addressed and was pro active in pointing out other issues that will need to be fixed. My home was built in 1903 and Joe knew about the old boiler and how to find leaks in the radiators, etc. He is diligent and knowledgeable and was patient with me since I was overwhelmed, having just lost me husband. Joe and his dad made me feel safe. I trust them implicitly and look forward to continuing to work with them! Highly recommended!

Estimate is free but be careful because a visit is an assessment and they charge 150 dollars flat just to look and assess your plumbing problem. Every visit is 150 flat and would be deducted to the work. If you decide not to, you still have to pay 150 dollars. That is their fee. Be careful. They will also insist that you were aware and they mentioned that fee when you call them. Be very careful.

I originally called Mr Farley (who I did not know at the time) to finish a job started by another plumber who left my shower unusable after replacing a shower pan and changing the shower spigots. That plumber did not rough-in the valve back far enough to accept the trim and spigot which would make the shower turn on and off. When I called Mr. Farley Sr. he actually answered the phone, listened to my problem and Joe Farley Jr. came to my house the next morning and fixed the problem. I just recently had to call Joe Farley again for "toilet" issues which he quickly and efficiently took care of and also explained to me the reasons and options available as my home has the original toilets and pipes. Mr Farley installed a new toilet for me on this call and did a great job. I will be using them for any future plumbing needs as they are very professional, efficient and courteous. My only regret is that I did not find them earlier. Thank you Farley Plumbing and Heating.

Joe was on time and did a professional and excellent job. He explained all the work that was performed in detail. Would definitely hire and recommend Joe again for any plumbing project.

Remodel was completed today. Everything Looks great.

It went very well. He was able to come over shortly after my call. He determined the toilet leak and repaired it. I ask if he had time to look at my second toilet, he did and he repaired it also. Then I showed him the kitchen faucet and he said that he didn't have the right parts with him but after returning from his truck he did have the parts and repaired the faucet also. I got lucky that he had time to take care of all of my plumbing problems at one time. He was very professional, very pleasant and did a very good job.

When I called Farley's Plumbing my house was making me sick and I couldn't stand to be in it. I had been sick with carbon monoxide symptoms since I moved in and the air in the basement smelled just aweful. The Farleys picked up the phone right away, offered suggestions over the phone, and came out first thing the next morning. Joe saw that my water heater's flu was disconnected and explained that that was a health hazard. He connected and secured the flu pipe, saw that the cap on the chimney clean out was rusted through and barely there, so he replaced that too, corrected a not-so-great drain from my AC, and capped the soil stack. It made such a difference! The air in the house was so much better, and so was my health! Both Joes were professional, knowledgable, and great to work with!

The overall experience was excellent. Joe was very flexible in scheduling and worked with us to re-schedule on a couple of occasions as we arranged for floor refinishing to happen, after old fixtures were removed (by Joe) and before news fixtures were installed. Joe and his son gave us good advice on what products to choose and on how to upgrade a baseboard heater in this unheated room.
Over the last several years the Farleys have done two other major jobs for us,
1. Repairing the leaking connection of the city's very old water lline to the house's curbside pipe/connection
2. Replacing the old terra cotta sewer line with PVC. A ton of digging on a very hot day before even starting on the installation of
the new line.
The Farleys are great to work with, very responsive and efficient. I'd recommend them to anyone.

They gave me an estimate over the phone and then came out to review scope of work. They then scheduled the work to be completed and still held to their price quote though additional work was required in the walls. They replaced inferior contractor installed items with items of higher quality. They were professional and courteous. They also were very neat and cleaned everything up completely.

I had done the research and learned that a plumbing contractor can get the Insinkerator Pro series, which is not available in stores. This model has a longer warranty than the comparable model available to the public. Joe was able to get the unit and install it promptly. Because the pipes were in such bad condition, the job turned out to be more difficult than had been anticipated. He performed all the work diligently and efficiently. Everything was left in perfect shape. I am delighted with the disposal, which is very quiet and works beautifully.
