the underlying foundation and structure of the homes are sound and well built, but the homes are basic dull designs, they choose cheap finishes such as counter tops, bathroom fixtures, carpeting and low price vinyl siding, the finish on the hardwood steps did not cover completely and peeled after a few years, the roof was not properly sealed and leaked early, strangely they did go to the expense of plumbing a central vac system, especially troublesome was their poor work outside - very limited top soil so that the lawn has never grown well, they did not sift out rocks from the back fill and so we had carted away over a ton of stone from baseball size to the size of a microwave, they didn't back fill around/under the porch slab properly and we have have rodent issues yearly, virtually no landscaping work done, and with all this they are inflexible on prices set too high,
