This product is a very nice solution to a very dark hallway. It produces a great deal of light. So much so that my grandaughte asked where the light switch was. The product is very, very nice and the installation was very good. My only problem with this contractor is that he gave me a verbal estimate of $650 including installation for the very basic solar tube ( there are a number of more expensive models to choose from). When he came to the house to install the solar tube he proceeded to start work without any written estimate (MY BAD) When the installation was over he presented me with a bill for $800 +. Although I didn't question this at the time (MY BAD again) after looking at the bill there were a number of cross outs to the installation charge. The final charge was more than $150 more than the original quote. There was an extra charge for an additional length of the tubing but nowhere near $150 dollars.

I want to make clear, we are very pleased with the product and installation, we just don't think the way we are billed was a very good business practice. Also, a neighbor had a number of these tubes installed by this contractor before ours and stated the bill was for $600 each. This would have been much closer to the original verbal qoute we received.

Went well in and out in a couple of hours. No mess left. No leaks. Looks great.

The salesman/owner/installer arrived at my house on time. he showed me his product and gave an explanation as to how it worked. I was especially impressed that the fan was working while he held it in his hand as soon as he took it out of the box. It was an overcast day with a few sprinkles of rain. So I knew that the solar panel was better than I expected.
He installed the fan in the center of the roof in the rear of the house as high as he could. You cannot see it from the front of the house and the low profile had little impact on the appearance of the rear.
My wife was at work and knew he was coming to show me the fan. She did not know that he installed it. She came home two hours later and went upstairs. She immediately noticed that the house was much cooler and it was a hot day by the time she arrived. So I knew at that point that my money was well spent.
My wife and daughter like to run the air conditioner at 72and ordm; in warm weather but that makes me too cold. Since the fan was installed we keep the A/C on 75and ordm; and the house is comfortable for them. When they are away on vacation I put it on 76and ordm;. there have been many days when we do not run the A/C.
I am a happy puppy and so is the dog.

These guys are wonderful. They are prompt, they are nice, and they do a wonderful job. We've used them before and highly recommend them.

Our appt. was for 9am on a dreary rainy Saturday. J.J. and his asst. showed up at 8:55! My husband made this appt. because he wanted a skylight in the bathroom and possibly the hallway. J.J. and his asst went up in our attic crawlspace and walked the roof, then went over the options and gave him a price. He was hesitant, but while they were there I asked if I could have an estimate for the laundry room, where there are no windows. After they went back up on the roof they told us this would be a simple installation. The rain had stopped and it was really dark in there so we said go for it. The difference was amazing! My husband was so impressed we had them put the one in the bathroom immediately. This one was a little more difficult and costly, needing more tubing and included installing a vent, but the guys knocked it out quickly and cleaned up completely afterwards. We love it!

I loved their product and it works beautifully. They are just like your down home, nicest bend over backwards and old fashioned friendly guys. They were just nice on the phone, and they remembered my name and where I lived. They had great follow up with regard to installation which was very professional.

I called them up and made an appointment. They came out and gave me an estimate the very next day. They were here on time and they took out the old fan and put in the new one. When I talked to them on the phone they were very informative and responsive. They also have a product known as a solatube. It is a tube that projects natural light into a room that isn't on the roof line.
