Rising Star Moving places customer service first on their list.    The crew is professional, courteous, very hardworking, and prompt.  I used them for several townhome moves, and each time have been extremely satisfied with their consistent customer service and professionalism.  Absolutely recommend their services.

Courteous and efficient, Kenneth was easy to work with starting before the move, setting everything (list of items, size of truck, number of workers) up well in advance and for the day I requested. He and his workers arrived on time, introduced themselves clearly and got right to work, handling my move easily. They were so friendly my hard-to-please mother-in-law sang their praises and I ended up giving them big tips, they earned them. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Rising Star Moving again.

I called Kenneth on Friday afternoon August 1st and described the items I wanted moved from storage and within my house -- all of which were big and heavy items. I told Kenneth my hope was to have the move done before August 6th. Kenneth told me he was on the road so he'd have to check his schedule and get back to me. He said he'd try to fit my move into his schedule but it was short notice so it just may not be possible. Kenneth got back to me in the early evening and he told me he thought the schedule would work and we talked about costs and details of the move. He was absolutely delightful and I immediately knew that my furniture would be in good hands. I told Kenneth that I was concerned that some of the furniture may present a real challenge making it through tight doorways and hallways-- it might take a miracle to get some of the items through the door. Kenneth told me that while he cannot work miracles, if there was a way to get a piece of furniture through a door, his movers would find it. He told me he would email a contract laying out the details of the move and once I accepted the terms, we'd work out the details of the move. I had some follow-up questions about the move and the contract which I emailed to Kenneth on August 2nd. He called me the same day to go over my questions and I told him I was good to go.
August 4th, Kenneth called me to confirm his intent to meet me on the 5th at 9 a.m. at the storage facility. His 3-man crew would be ready to roll as soon as I met them. He told me he would call me on the 5th when he was on his way to the facility. Today, the 5th, Kenneth called me at 8 a.m. to say they were on the way; I headed to the storage unit. The crew and truck arrived shortly after I pulled into the parking area. I immediately realized I had forgotten to ask Kenneth an important question -- how big would the moving truck be. Turned out the truck was quite large -- i had failed to tell Kenneth that I live on a private, single-lane gravel road that winds through the forest for 1/3 of a mile. Kenneth spoke with my husband over the phone to discuss the size of the truck and they decided the truck would fit down the road so we headed to the storage unit. Kenneth's crew took great care in wrapping my white fabric sofa and accent table -- they were completely covered to assure no damage during the move. Kenneth told me his crew would follow me in the truck as my private road is not marked and not on GPS. I asked Kenneth what his crew would do if they decided they couldn't get their truck down my road. Without hesitation Kenneth assured me they would get the furniture to my house even if his crew had to carry it down the road -- for a third of a mile! Is that unreal? I love Kenneth's attitude and would absolutely trust him with any job and my most valued possessions.
We headed out and the truck followed me for 20+ miles with no difficulty whatsoever. The truck made it to our house with no problem...then there was the challenge of getting into the driveway and turning the truck around. I was amazed at the calm demeanor the driver exhibited in getting that huge truck turned around in such a tight space -- really amazing driving! Then the fun began with squeezing furniture in and out of my house. This crew was just amazing...not a scratch, not a ding, absolute perfection. They worked miracles getting some pieces through the door frames! The price of the move was exactly what Kenneth quoted me in spite of all the unique challenges the crew overcame.

In my long life I have moved perhaps ten times and I can truly say that Rising Star Moving did the best and most professional job I have ever had. They arrived twenty minutes before the appointed time fully prepared with blankets and plastic wrapping material and proceeded to prepare the furniture, some antiques, carefully. When everything was ready they loaded the truck after carrying my belongings down seventeen steps from my second floor apartment to the truck. From there they unloaded to a freight elevater to the sixth floor and took everything to my new digs. The three man crew was professional in every way - polite, friendly, and very hard working. The president of the company, Ken Fischer, told me that this is what would happen. He was definitely right. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Ken Fischer and his company.

They worked very hard, were very courteous and respectful. We had things to move from a POD and from my parents house. They worked very late and there were no complaints at all.

I liked their responsiveness. They have a nice storage facility. I am still making use of their storage services, and I am paying $30 a month for storage.
