I had an outside outlet that wasn't working and had a neighbor test the wires who told us they were dead and the last electrician we reached out to never showed up. So asked the local lightening store if they had a recommendation for a good local electrician. They gave us Dave at Friend's and we couldn't have been more pleased. I called thinking I was setting up an appointment in the next few weeks but since he was at a job close by he said he would stop by just to see what was going on. In the meantime we were having a water heater replaced and explained to him all the power was off because we couldn't identify the individual breaker but he said not a problem he was coming by. And sure enough I think in less then an hour from the time I first contacted him he was there and looking it all over and THIS ON A SATURDAY afternoon. Not only did he fix the outside outlet (which he showed us was actually not dead) but he answered all my questions about some other electrical issues that were of concern to me for a long time. I asked about costs for some future work we want done and his rates seemed honest and fair. He told us he does not charge any more if its an "emergency call" then he would for scheduled work. Even though I didn't give much concern to how the outside outlet looked he made sure it was neat and clean and considering the area he had to work around was far more then I expected. While he was there I had some questions about other things that I thought might be issues and he was nice enough to take the time to explain to me each and everyone and give me piece of mind that everything was safe and in working order. We will definitely be using him again in the coming months for some other projects and I can't imagine the quality of service will be any different.

After uninstalling a multi-function ceiling fan we were unable to install a simple light due to all the crazy wires. The technician from Friend's laid a mat before starting any work, to make sure anything that may have fallen would not get onto any surface. This was great since it was a kitchen ceiling electrical box. He tested the wires since there were extra wires from the previous crazy wiring job. He then installed the new light. This all was done very expediently and professionally.

He does all types of job; large and small. He is dependable and he is reasonable.
