According to the person on the phone a 12 mile distance is outside of their service area (Ambler to Doylestown). The Ad says their service area includes Bucks County.

I really appreciated how detailed their estimate and work was--much more detailed than other companies we contacted. They did a great job and a really nice job cleaning up afterwards. My only issue is that, while I was told stump removal could be in a different day, I was NEVER told it would be months later. My service was on 3/31 after a long winter of waiting, due to bad weather, and it is now May 9th. I called today and was told they're still very backed up. I asked if we're talking weeks or months, and was told likely weeks and that she'd try to get us to the top of the pile. We want to do some landscaping in the front and can't do so until they remove the stump. It is really an eyesore since the ground around it is barren and it's right in front of our house. If they would remove the stump in a reasonable amount of time, we'd consider hiring them for landscaping. However if they're unable to do so, we will have to look elsewhere for the stump removal and the landscaping.

I contacted Clauser and their office staff was friendly and assisted in setting up an appt for an estimate. They contact me twice to confirm the appt. and arrived precisely at the time of the appt, provided an estimate right then which was the most reasonable of three I had received, and marked the trees for removal that morning. The job was scheduled within two weeks and completed within a few hours. I would recommend them to anyone in need of tree services.

We are actually going to have them come out and repair some of the damage from the ice storm. They haven't done the work yet because as we might imagine they are backed up. I think they are fantastic. They come out, give us a quote and the quote is what we pay. They do work that is on the quote and that is what we pay. There are no hidden charges or no fooling around; they tell us what it's going to cost us. With the exception of when fifty thousand people have trees down, they come quickly. I don't feel bad that it's taking them a while to get here because there are people with trees on their homes so they need to go there first. I think their prices are very good. They are very fast to come out with the exception of these master blasters. When they tell us they are going to be here, they are here. We are getting ready to use them again.

I have used Clauser Tree Care several times over the past 6 years. They have always done a great job. The staff is friendly and professional. Their prices are very competitive. I have used them to cut down several trees. Each time, they arrived on-time, completed the job quickly, and cleaned up after themselves.

I had called several tree service companies to come out to provide estimates for some tree/shrub services we wanted. Larry, the arborist who came out for Clauser's was very knowledgable and also provided valuable suggestions. All three of the estimates were comparable price wise, but between Larry's knowledge and Clausers "Angies List" coupon. we contracted with Clausers. We were certainly not disappointed. They came exactly when they said they would and James and Antonio were amazing! We have a huge Japanese red-leaf maple that we were told is not only very valuable but also fragile and needs TLC. They did an amazing job with it along with our weeping cherry and bradford pear which is also a fragile tree. Everything looks wonderful and the cleanup James and Antinio did was EXCELLENT! Our yard looked better than it did before they got here! I would highly recommend Clausers. They were responsive, a great value for the money, and did a terrific job!!

Everything went well. The company was very professional and responsible. They truly care about the work that they perform and the satisfaction of the customer. I will definitely use them again in the future for all my tree care.

The estimate came via email a few days after the estimator visited our home. We were able to schedule the work within three weeks. The crew showed up on time and took as much care as they could in my back yard. The trees were removed as contracted. In the front yard, the street had to be blocked off and the crew was very efficient, for such a large tree. The tree was growing out of the side of an old stone wall and the Caesar broke his chain more than once at the base because the tree had taken some stone with it as it grew! There were rocks in the center of the trunk. The only hitch in the back yard was that a large piece of wood or equipment broke a big piece of slate that I had been saving. Technically, it was quite an expensive rock that was now shattered. I simply asked that they haul it away for me, since it was pretty much useless. After a quick phone, they did just that. I paid by check at the end of the job. Not the cheapest I've had trees removed, but they were worth it.

I called and asked for an estimate, they came out the next day and were able to schedule the work within 2 weeks. Their price was very reasonable and they did a great job. Would definitely recommend them to a friend.

They did a great job. They showed up at the specified time to do all the tree work and 2 days later came to grind up all the stumps. Everything went as planned and the estimate was exactly what I paid. I intend to use them again for future tree work.

I have used them before, and they offered a very competitive quote. They came out and they are helpful, and quick in scheduling the work. The tree that we had was cracked, and had risks, and they came out on short notice, they were done before lunch, and came a week later to remove the stump. It was a pretty straightforward job.

Very impressed from start to finish. The Arborist, Larry Canavan showed up on the appointed day and reviewed the situation with our Oak trees and made recommendations on the course of action to be taken. We had to have an oak tree removed, unfortunately, which in our estimation was over 100 years old,and two others need to have some deadwood removed. The crew showed up at 7:30 a.m. and went to work. By the time we returned home from the work, the tree was removed and the other two "pruned". If it wasn't for the fact that tree was removed we would not have known they were even there. They cleaned up beautifully and even removed some wood and trimmings that I had created. I would HIGHLY recommend Clauser Tree Service to anyone.

I have used their service several times in the past. They alway complete the job and clean up when they are finished.

They did a great job, took the trees down in less then an hour, removed the debris and cleaned up and left the property in perfect condition. Stump grinders came 5 days later and did a great job and also cleaned up and left the property in original condition. Very satisfied with the entire process from the estimate through the work and job completion.

The work is fine and it took all of 15 to 20 minutes. I have an issue with the price of this small job.

They came when they said, did they what they were supposed to do, and left. They were as quiet as tree-removal people can be. I think their price was very fair, based on other experiences.

Disappointed in quality of service given the Angie List reviews. After explaining what I wanted done to their estimator, a crew came over to do the work when I was not at home (which was fine). However, they did a poor job...actually didn't prune one of the main trees in front and barely touched the other. I complained and the estimator came out and did the follow up work himself. At the end they did the scope of what they were supposed to do, but I found the overall quality average. And they are definately pricey for what they did...in hinsight I could have purchased the tree pruner myself from Home Depot for $100 and did it myself in 2 hours.

I think their quote was high on the big tree and reasonable on the bush. The quote experience was fine; they responded quickly and got out here relatively quickly, and all the follow ups were fine. They were very professional and behaved and was easy to work with. The only reason we did not use them was because of the price.
