Hired Brian to wash and restain a deck and then do some drywall patching and track lighting bulb replacement and other minor things. Always showed up on time, did great work. Professional and courteous. Fair prices. Would recommend his services. Very pleased.

None of the listed projects is what he has done for us, though he did decomission some water tanks in greenhouses. Brian has been our handyman for several years. The large, complex house generated a variety of problems. A friend recommended him when 2 others I tried were unable to solve greenhouse problems. Brian came up with solutions. He handled solatube leaks, painting, taking down a geodesic dome and turning the garden into a deerproof but exposed garden. He has fixed any problem that we have had. When we moved to a retirement home, the local repair people were unable to see how to mount a flat sculpture we have on the wall, but when we showed Brian the problem, he solved it immediately and neatly. He is a brilliant problem solver, completely flexible about all sorts of work, well supplied with the necessary tools (and can get helpers if needed). I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is superb and reliable.

I had used Brian for a major deck rebuild and installation of a real hardwood floor in my whole house several years ago and was very pleased with the results and the final cost. I discovered his plumbing and painting abilities while all that was going on. He did so well with my place that I then had him do a full house renovation on a house my daughter bought near me. He did a fine job on that one, which included not only redoing the whole house interior but also cutting out an exterior wall and installing a sliding glass door to her deck. Plus new replacement new windows throughout the upper floor. It was noticeably cheaper for me to have him replace all the windows that what the major window companies wanted for the same work. Today I had him for a smaller job in my house to take apart and fix a modern type drain that had somehow gotten almost fully plugged. I had called him late last week and he showed up today to take care of it. He did a good job of cleaning up the mess when he was done. He calls himself a "step above" handyman but that's an understatement. His skills are many and extend far beyond that. Like others have said, he is honest, fair, and takes the time to do it right.

We have had Brian fix numerous things in our home over the past number of years. He has replaced the flooring & toilets in our 2 bathrooms, fixed some drywall, hinges on my kitchen cabinets & most recently painted our bedroom & replaced our deck. He takes pride in his work & his prices are reasonable. I trust his judgement with advice as we discuss projects & he is usually right. I would highly recommend Brian for whatever project you may have.

We have used Brian Auman for several jobs around our house over the past couple of years, and we have always been delighted. He is very reliable in all things, including budgeting and money, and we have total trust in his fairness and judgment. Very obviously, he seriously takes a major pride in his work. When things go wrong, as of course something always will, he does not rest until he fixes it. Also a very nice guy to deal with. You really could not do better. Unqualified recommendation.

Finding Brian and his team was a really lucky break. We had a lot of things that needed to be fixed—from a deck with rotten boards to a leaking garage to an electrical short in a chandelier, not to mention a chair, drawers, and some kitchen cabinets that needed repair. Brian took care of all of it and we were thrilled with the result. We were extremely impressed with his range, his attention to detail, and his high-quality results. We'll definitely be using his service again. We also appreciated his warmth and kindness, and (as a family with young children) the fact that he and his team were fully vaccinated.

Mr. Auman installed a kitchen faucet, replaced two toilets, and replaced old defective pipes under two bathroom lavs. He explained everything to me, and he handled lots of little details just the way I asked him to. Also, pleasant conversation. He phoned me the next day to make sure everything was working right. As a senior citizen, I appreciated all of the above.

Mr. Auman installed an access panel in a very difficult location. Excellent quality work and a pleasure to work with.

He is a perfectionist just like me. Great passion for his work.

This involved the replacement of a exterior door frame along with all the trim, and adjustments needed. This complicated by the basement floor trench water removal system we have. Brian did a great job and his attention to detail is outstanding. He adapted well to additional repairs that were needed due to deterioration of the door area from the effects of age, water intrusion and poor prior maintenance. Work was completed in a timely manner, and for a fair price. Can't ask much more than that! We have hired Brian to do a major bathroom remodeling for us.

Awesome work

The young man is an excellent resource for numerous projects. He was diligent and determined to fix the problem against the odds of the appliance manufacturer's difficulties in acquiring the necessary parts. He explained the problem as he repaired the item. I will use him in the future and recommend him to family and friends in need. A wonderful find. Thank you.

handyman arrived a bit late, project finished later than I expected, did a thorough job Handyman didn't want to come first to give me an estimated,just showed up for the scheduled appointment and sid the job for the price I quoted him. I sense he felt it was too low a price for what he did. The price he quoted me for future jobs is too high for my budget.

Very friendly and accomdating

Outstanding job removing our heating oil tank!! We will be hiring them for our next item on our to do list.
