FRENCH GARDENS

French Gardens has done a few projects for us – hedge trimming, hedge removal, spring cleanup, yard re-grading, a drain install, and fixing up our patio. You can tell they really treat the yard as if it were their own. Everything is done with great precision and craftsmanship. Every time they come to do work I have higher and higher expectations, and every time they exceed my expectations. Most of my communication has been with Shawn. He is very easy to work with; he is incredibly quick to respond, and he has such a high level of professionalism. You can tell he really cares about the job and wants to make sure everything is done right. He and his team are also great at figuring out how to resolve unexpected issues during a project, like finding at 24'-deep cistern under the patio! I recommend using French Gardens for any lawn maintenance, landscaping, or hardscaping projects you may have. I promise you they will exceed your expectations!

After developing plans and getting estimates from four other landscapers, we were starting to lose hope that we could find anyone who could give us a design that we liked.  Everyone else brought us designs with curbs and pavers.  French Gardens blew us away with a beautiful design that worked perfectly with the home and wooded surroundings.  They were the only contractor who could do it all - stonework, driveway, pergola, and landscaping.  Their crew was there everyday working hard for the full day and then always cleaning up the site at the end of the day.  They were fantastic to work with, dependable, responsible, friendly, and highly skilled.  We highly recommend French Gardens.

WHOO HOO!! Lucky me I found another Angie's List HERO. Snow---ugh. Way too much for me to control and keep my driveway and garage clear. It was that Thursday storm that finally had me crying Uncle. So, I started calling for help by looking in the yellow pages (dumb blond thing). Of course everyone I spoke with had to honor their current contracts and did not want to take on any more. Perfectly understandable but, not helpful. Finally turned to Angies List ,which I should have done in the first place--lesson learned. I started making phone calls and leaving messages concerning my delima and the Hero to respond was Mike. He called me back and said he would try to get out to clear the driveway/garage Sunday night but, may not make it unitl Monday. He did not get to us on Sunday so I called him on Monday mornig and he said he did not get home until late the night before but, would be coming to do the job that day. Big relief for me, help was on the way.. Mike appeared that day riding in a big white truck with a beautiful yellow front end loader on the back trailer. Very professional, competent and understanding. He cleared the many layers of snow an ice from the garage area and more! I now can get in and out of my garage and driveway AND my neighbors no longer have to fight over street parking as MY HERO MIKE cleared the snow from in front of the house.
Great job ----If there was a Olympic Medal for snow removal he would have gotten the gold.

Great service, scheduling, I asked for a lot of customer work and they always communicated great, tracked me down if i wasn't on the property for questions and did everything to make me happy as a customer. Their work is simply the best in the lehigh valley and much better than what ive seen in NJ or NYC where i formerly lived. I couldnt recommend French Garden more and i've done business with many GC, contractors, etc in the area with French Garden really being the best to deal with bar none.
Amazing work and I've used several of the better claimed landscapers in the lehigh valley. French Gardens w/ Mike is by far the best. Amazing service and attention to detail and more than worth the slightly higher cost vs a bargain basement place that doesnt have the asthetics that French Garden has. Well worth their premium work.

Mike French always does an excellent job! He is simply the best. His landscaping is truly magnificent. I can't always afford to have him do all that I would like but if I could I'd have no one but him.

I liked the communication with the person who came down to do the job. He was easy to talk to and he made sure that things were done as we wanted them. My overall experience with him was excellent. I didn't get any other estimates but for us it was worth the price. They were on time and they cleaned up after the work.

I can tell you the estimate was through the roof. It was almost 3 times what I am actually paying. The price was off the wall. Because I had another price for 3,500 dollars. I hired a contractor locally and I am paying only 3,000 dollars. My overall experience was not good. Their initial response was quick, but the follow-up to get the quote was almost 2 weeks later.

They are wonderful. I would say Mike French is the best landscaper around. Exceptionally Nice person. Very professional. Incredible job. Landscaping can be pricey but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Everything went very well and all work was completed within 2 days. Mike and his crew of 3 men were friendly and professional and very hard working during an intense heat wave that week. We liked the fact that Mike didn't mind doing what some lanscapers would consider "small jobs," or anything under $10,000. We didn't expect to have Mike do the perimeter of our new deck, but when I asked "by the way, while you're here what do you suggest" he immediately made a suggestion, came up with a price, said he could do it the next day and we said, "go for it." It is simple, low maintenace and beautifully enhanced the look of our deck. We highly recommend French Gardens and intend to have them come back in the Spring or Fall for other areas that need to be done.

The job was done quickly, as described, when we wanted it done. Mike added some work (stump grinder) as he went, making sure the job was finished on time. They also did a bit more work than requested to make the yard a bit neater than when they started.

He has been very nice, and he is very good. He is willing to do anything that you want, and he has a great design sense. I did not compare prices, but I have been very happy with him.
