Ken did a great job

I don't remember the cost. His price was very reasonable, he's done multiple work for us.

A+ for all interactions.  Came on time to give an estimate. Came on time to do the work. Cleaned up. Price was fair (I have a huge roof--over 100 feet long).  I highly recommend him

We lost quite a few shingles from late November winds and wanted a new roof before winter set in as we knew cold winter winds and weather would bring even more damage.  After getting several estimates we contacted Mr Burns, who fit us into their schedule to replace our 30-year old roof in spite of cold weather we were experiencing at the time, and with a reasonable price.

I though his prices was satisfactory and the work was acceptable.

Two or three years ago I contracted Ken to put a new roof on my house. Ken personally visited our home and prepared the estimate. He had other crewmen doing much of the actual work, but he was on-site and up on the roof for part of most days. His estimate was much lower than estimates from more corporate roofing companies. We might have been a little leerie of the low cost, but Ken had previously made minor repairs over the years to our old roof. We knew that he does what he says he will do and his work is good quality. It is also good to know that if I have a problem with my roof in the future, he does not avoid repair jobs. Because the wind is very strong at my house, I asked for an upgraded shingle. Ken increased the estimate price and we agreed to the work. Before he actually began the work, Ken told us that he found that the costs of the upgraded shingles were higher than he anticipated. He asked to increase the price of the job. I believe that this was an honest oversight. I also think that the cost of the job was still lower than other comparable bids. We agreed to the price. Ken put the roof on the house over 3 or 4 days. I am satisfied with the performance of the new roof.

My neighbor mentioned that I had water running off of a place on my roof.  I called Ken and they adjusted the roof.  The gutter had to be readjusted and they were here right away.  I haven't had any problems.  They are very prompt, professional, and pleasurable to work with.

They were very reasonably priced (we did get at least 3 estimates on the job).  They came within the given time frame and completed the work pretty quickly.  They used flashing that matched well and then even painted a couple spots that were different (as I said, it is not your standard roof).  We did have a couple issues that I called them about and they did come right back out to get it right. 

Very well.  Ken gave me an assessment of the area, fixed the broken shingles and gave me advice about some other things with the roof.

He did the job for a very fair, reasonable price. It was an excellent service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. He was wonderful. They did a great job!

NOT VERY RESPONSIVE. THERE WAS A LONG, INCONVENIENT PERIOD WHERE HE DID NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. BUT ONCE WE CONNECTED HE WAS ON TIME FOR THE DATE TO WORK & DONE IN THE TIME HE ESTIMATED.

KEN GAVE US A GREAT PRICE AND WAS ABLE TO DO THE WORK FOR US VERY QUICKLY WHEN OTHER COMPANIES EITHER QUOTED A SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER PRICE AND/OR COULDN'T DO THE WORK FOR WEEKS. THE OVERALL WORK WAS REASONABLY WELL DONE. HOWEVER THERE ARE A FEW SMALL DEFECTS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED; I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET THEM TO COME BACK FOR ALMOST 3 MONTHS NOW TO FIX THEM, WITH NO SUCCESS.

THE FIRST TIME I CALLED KEN, HE CAME OUT PROMPTLY TO HAVE A LOOK AT OUR JOB AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE OF $500 WHICH WAS *ONE-TENTH* OF THE ESTIMATE OF A VERY LARGE, WELL KNOWN ROOFING COMPANY. I WAS SKEPTICAL THAT HE COULD ACTUALLY DO THE JOB FOR THAT LITTLE. HE NOT ONLY DID ALL THE WORK INCLUDED IN THE ESTIMATE, BUT ALSO A FEW OTHER SMALL ITEMS HE HADN'T SEEN WHEN HE GAVE THE ESTIMATE (REPAIRED LOOSE FLASHING) FOR THE SAME PRICE. UNFORTUNATELY OUR SUBSEQUENT EXPERIENCES HAVEN'T BEEN AS OUTSTANDING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET A CALL BACK, AND ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION HE'S BEEN A NO-SHOW FOR APPOINTMENTS. KEN BURNS WAS RECOMMENDED TO US BY OUR REAL ESTATE AGENT, WHO HAS USED HIM FOR YEARS. MY IMPRESSION IS THAT HE'S A GOOD ROOFER AND A FAIR AND HONEST MAN WHO HAS MORE BUSINESS THAN HE CAN HANDLE. HE SEEMS TO HAVE NO SUPPORT WITH ADMINISTRATIVE WORK, SO RETURNING CALLS IS NOT A PRIORITY. IF IT WEREN'T SO FRUSTRATING TO TRY TO REACH HIM WE WOULD LOVE TO DEAL WITH HIM AGAIN!

KEN BURNS WAS PROMPT AND COMPLETED WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER AND PROFESSIONAL WAY.

PLEASANT, PROMPT. EASY TO DEAL WITH.

THIS COMPANY HAS DONE ROOFING JOBS IN THE AREA AND HAS A GOOD REPUTATION FOR THIS WORK. HE DOESN'T HESITATE TO MAKE AN EVALUATION IF THERE IS A SMALL LEAK.
