About us

Newville Animal Hospital is one of two south-central Pennsylvania offices operated by Dr. Todd Hasco. Our goal at Newville Animal Hospital is to provide exceptional quality veterinary medicine along with compassionate care of all our patients and their families. We endeavor to operate our animal hospitals in an ethical manner, combining reliable, accommodating service with preventative, progressive medical practices for the overall good health of our animal patients. We feel that our clients should be able to play an active role in their pets' healthcare decisions. Our staff is commited to constant learning through continuing education opportunities. We will take care of your pets as if they were our own from the first puppy and kitten visits to the care throughout their mature years

We really like them. That care is expensive. They participate in care credit which means I am able to put the bill and stretch it out for six months. The obviously relate well with animals but they also really relate well with people. It's very clean. They're very friendly. Obviously like I said, they truly,deeply care about the animals. I don't generally have trouble getting in and have an appointment. That's very nice. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Went for a second opinion, for our cat's frequent vomiting. The first doctor I saw was not too helpful, put my cat on hypoallergenic food which did not help and when I asked when we could expect some kind of results he said we would have to either wait it out or do more aggressive testing and probably surgery. Then I took her back and saw another doctor. She was more helpful and we finally, after barium studies, were able to start her on several different meds. She continues to take all the meds, the results are that she is somewhat better, but we're not done yet and we must continue the meds and the special food. We have a return appointment scheduled.
