 + -1 moreBoth jobs were a well-handled from start to finish. The director of Home Modifications came to our home for a consultation and gave us details on what would be required for the work. They gave us an estimate and time to consider it. They also allowed us to make changes as the work continued. Since the home is located in a community with a Home Owner's Association, the director submitted plans to the association for approval and answered their questions. The plans were also submitted to the township and approved. Once the work started, the employees arrived on time and were very courteous and respectful of our home. The finishing touches to their work made the four season room one of the prettiest in our home.
Description of Work: The first job was a home modification for my bathroom. Family Home Medical converted a bath/shower unit into a shower with safety bars and a zero threshhold for wheelchair usage. The shower is large and has a seat and a hand held shower head. It can also be ordered in colors which isn't necessary for safety, but it looks good too. For anyone in need of home modifications for wheelchair access, safety or convenience, I would recommend this company. With their experience, they were able to make suggestions that were extremely helpful. The second job was to add a four season room to our home. They matched the siding and roofing to match the existing structure, added a sliding glass door and five large windows, installed an HVAC unit and finished with beadboard wainscotting and an engineered red oak floor. The work on our sunroom showed that they are experienced in more than home modification.
