Very happy with the job they did would highly reccomend

my employee told me to stove was full of ash - and I checked it and sure enough it was full of ash - it hadn't been cleaned. When I called the owner got very loud and defensive saying he was just there to clean the pipes, not the interior of the stove. I spoke with a woman (wife?) and asked her how much to clean the stove and she she $164 - so I DID pay for a cleaning and did not get the service I paid for. Both were very defensive and argumentative - I can't believe they talk to their customers like that!

We called and set up an appointment for an estimate. Due to inclement weather, they called us to reschedule for 2 weeks later to fit our schedule. They gave a four hour window for arrival but showed up in the 1st hour of that time period. He assessed the problem and gave us a quote. He had the parts with him, so we decided to have the work done. The job was complete in 30 minutes. He explained the operateion of the damper before he left. He also provided a source for a fireplace insert.

Mr. Beitler was punctual, efficient and thorough . We discussed the pro's and con's of going ahead with required work or waiting for warmer weather. We decided to wait until spring because there were no serious issues identified. When we finished he said he would provide me a phone estimate within the next couple of days, two days later I received the estimate.( I felt the price was reasonable.)

Tom arrived on time and did what his estimate said he would do. He came back later and waterproofed the chimney. He did a wonderful job, was timely and professional. Used care when and where he places his ladder and how he walks on your roof. If he finds something odd with the chimney that he can repair, he does it and tells you what he did. His spouse who schedules the appointments is very prompt with return calls, professional and knowledgeable about the products and procedures. THANKS

I called several places for estimates to repoint the chimney. Beitlers was the only one to show up for the estimate as scheduled. They followed up with a phone call to explain the work that should be done (taking the time to educate me was very appreciated). They sent me a written proposal that was complete and easy to understand. The price seemed reasonable and each person I spoke with was very knowledgeable.

On the scheduled work day, they were here early and proceeded to setup quickly. They were organized and took care to avoid damaging my property. They answered all my questions and were equally patient with my very curious (and large) puppies. They finished the work as planned, cleaned up after themselves and left on schedule.

I can't say enough about how great they were from start to finish. The only downside - I have been telling so many people about Beitler's that if I ever need to call them again I may have to wait longer for my turn. Good thing there is a warranty to cover the work.
