THE STORE ROOM STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL. THE INSTALLATION STAFF WERE ON TIME BUT NOT AS PROFESSIONAL AS THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THEIR BANTER WITH ONE ANOTHER SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT IN THE VAN OR THEY SHOULD HAVE RECOGNIZED THAT IT WAS NOT WORTHY OF BEING USED IN EARSHOT OF THE CUSTOMER, (EXCHANGE OF FOUL LANGUAGE AS WELL AS COMPLAINING ABOUT PREVIOUS CUSTOMER INSTALLATION ISSUES). THE INSTALLATION STAFF SHOULD ALSO TAKE MORE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND ENSURE THAT THE CUSTOMER IS SATISFIED BEFORE LEAVING. THIS STAFF DAMAGED A STEP AND NEVER BROUGHT IT TO MY ATTENTION. AS FOR RUTH, I HAD BROUGHT TO HER ATTENTION THAT THE INSTALLATION CREW HAD DAMAGED A WOOD STEP (THERE WAS A GOUGE IN THE WOOD). THERE WAS NO FOLLOW UP OR WORDS OF APOLOGY. THUS, IT IS MY PROBLEM TO FIX.

"Ruth Scherer Flooring makes every attempt in giving quality installation and professional service. I have been in the flooring business for over 30 years and I would have not tolerated this behavior in my own home. I have since fired this crew of installers, based on this complaint, my understanding of the gouged step was that the damage was apparent prior to our installation. I am fully insured and would not disregard any damage done by my company. Sincerely, Ruth Scherer"

THE SALES PEOPLE WERE VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH IN THE SELECTION OF NEW CARPETING. ALL THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME. EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP WHEN THEY LEFT. THE WORK WAS WELL DONE.

INSTALLATION WAS POOR. THE PAD UNDER CARPET WAS ROLLING UP THIS 1ST YEAR AFTER INSTALLATION.
