On 3/10/19 we signed agreement for 20,000 and gave a deposit of 7500. His skam literally began the minute he cashed the check. The project was to begin in 2 weeks and would take 12 days to complete and "his guys" would work long days and weekends to meet the deadline. He was to purchase all required materials so as to hasten the job. He didn't do so. Near any thing he said or promised proved to be false. He worked a few days intermittently a few days for demo and lay approximately 10 panels of cement board. He couldn't get a plumber so he was at a standstill We got a plumber and Finally on 6/6 I told him he was no longer needed and wanted to get together to settle our overpayment to him He was to call the am of 6/7. He did not and there has been no contact since.
