Dano Door

Everything went perfectly. The garage doors work almost as if they were brand new. He replaced the springs, lubed up the openers and fixed the travel of the door. Outstanding service!

We are very happy with the service and installation of the door and the new opener. They will be returning to replace the other garage door in the near future.

I called them right away and they were very responsive. They told me they could be there that day.

Called Dano looking to get an estimate for three new doors/openers and Bill was able to accommodate my schedule. Bill took measurements and provided brochures for us. I also asked which doors he thought would look great on our home. Once we decide on a style door Bill brought us a 2' x 2' sample to view. It was very accommodating as Bill left the sample with us for a couple days. Once we confirmed with Bill the doors we wanted ordered he came back to verify all measurements were correct. When the doors arrived Bill setup the install for three days for the doors and openers.The new doors look beautiful and sure beats having to lift the door manually. I am very satisfied with the Dano Doors and the work they completed.

Called on Tuesday and was able to confirm appt for Saturday. He arrived promptly and got right to work. Loved that he didn't replace rollers just because I suggested that it was a possibility. He adjusted garage door opener and did not charge me for a part that he had on his truck. He was in and out in less than 2 hours.

Fast, professional, courteous and explained/answered all questions. Charged less than the origional quote.

I had an opener fail on a Friday - 4 days before Christmas, which was the following Tuesday. So this Friday was going into a and quot;holiday weekendand quot; as Christmas Eve was Monday. I had first called the company that originally installed the openers and and quot;all their guys were on vacation until after the New Yearand quot; (and that was a big company) So I looked on Angie's list and found Dano.
Mr. Dano had the openers in stock - scheduled me for the NEXT DAY - a SATURDAY. And was competitive on price (he was within $20 for TWO openers)
He came with a helper and had two openers with all the controls replaced in about 2 hours.
Overall I'd give him A+ Old fashioned service and integrity.
There needs to be more of him in this world.

He just just does good work. He is reputable and honest.

On a late Friday afternoon, I discovered a problem with our garage door. The following Monday I searched for a local contractor on Angie's List and found Dano Door. I called and left a message. Bill Dano called me back within an hour and was able to meet with me that same day to get an estimate for a new garage door. He was able to get me on the schedule within three days. Bill and his helper showed up promptly and removed the existing garage door system and installed the new one in about 2 hours. I was very pleased with the work that was done. Bill is very professional and I highly recommend his services.

Look no further. If you live anywhere near Canonsburg this is the team that you want working on your garage door problem. They arrived on time and went right to work. Even though my door required an odd size spring they had two in stock on their truck. They pointed out several things that were done wrong on the original installation and made corrections with the new springs. Always good to meet people who know what they are doing. I'm very, very happy with their service. Not sure how far their territory extends but you might give them a call to find out. You might get lucky.

Mr. Dano arrived on the day and at the time he told me he would to give me an estimate to repair my old garage door. After considering the repair estimate, I decided that it would be better for me to install a new door. Mr. Dano gave me a very accurate description of the new door and explained that he'd have to order the door because of an odd size. Mr. Dano is very no-nonsense. He was to the point and did not pressure me to buy a new door. As a matter of fact, he offered to go ahead and do a temporary repair of the old door so that I could use it while waiting on the new door. It took about a week and a half for the new door to arrive. Mr. Dano called me to ask if he could install the door the next day. I asked if I needed to be at home for him to do the installation. He said he did not need me to be at home and that the installation would take a couple of hours. When I arrived home from work last night my beautiful new energy efficient garage door was installed.

A friend referred me to the company. The company was not listed on Angie's List, but I called them along with a couple other companies who were listed. Mr. Dano was the first to return my call and I scheduled an appointment for that afternoon. He and his son arrived when he said they would and quickly replaced the spring. They were polite and efficient.
