We found soon into the agreement and after nearly $700.00, that he had very poor communication skills and extremely erratic scheduling habits. He often said he would be here to work and did not show up. He then wanted to inconvenience us and work late evenings. He asked for additional money to purchase parts which we paid. We have not yet seen the parts on the job. He showed up again very late in the work day and did a few minor things and asked to be paid again. I agreed only if he was going to show up and complete the job. He promised we would be a priority. He then called the day before he was to be here, on a holiday, and informed us via a phone message that he had an issue with his schedule and would only show up after 5:00 pm or the next morning. He did not show up that day at all. He finally called the next afternoon and we asked him to please bring us all the parts we had paid for. We told him we had decided to part ways. He promised to be here by end of business which has come and gone. We still do not have our parts. He is causing a delay for our contractor as well as the other service workers that are on schedule. He has put our project on hold until we can replace him. We are into this job for $2,200.00 and only a fraction of the work has been completed.
