On this date, the provider was running late in his appointments.  A member of his staff did come out into the waiting room and told us that he was running late and then named off, in order, the people to be seen.  That was a good thing.  It allowed you to know what was happening, and when they started calling people back, you knew where you were in the queue.  Once I did get back to be seen, I felt the provider was hurried.  Did an exam, but really didn't listen to what I was saying or asking.  I was given general information, like, it could be this, or it could be that.  I was sent for further testing.  It took 8 days after the testing for the provider to get back to me with the results.  At that time it was his secretary who called me so I really couldn't ask any questions.  I sort of felt like I was left floundering.  I was given a follow-up appointment for 2 weeks away, so I guess I am just supposed to wait until then for my questions to be answered.

I was seen on time, but was so rushed around to xray, assistant and then the Dr that I didn't have time to complete their paperwork.  It was the first time seeing an orthopedist.  I had nothing to compare.  I've had therapy and that helped.  I have a followup appointment in a month.  I think the Dr could have spent more time on my case.  My injury is not severe.

My primary physician recommended Dr. Lippe, saying that Dr. Lippe would be the one he use himself. Dr. Lippe reviewed the xrays I brought with me and, after capturing a brief medical history, scheduled my surgery. He answered all of my questions and calmed all of my fears. In the weeks leading up to my surgery, I spoke to many different people in the medical field as well as other patients, and no one had a bad thing to say about Dr. Lippe. The surgery went as he promised. I have had 2 follow up appointments since, where he has always answered my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Lippe.

I wish that all doctors were as skilled, competent, and caring as Dr. Wolf. He is worth the wait to get in to see him. He is FABULOUS!

He is an excellent surgeon. He has an excellent secretary who is responsive to any kind of emergency, punctuality and everything. She works with Dr. Hanks directly and you don't have to go to any body else for any kind of questions you may have.

I fell and broke my left ankle. I did the RICE thing for 2 days (rest ice compression and elevation) but it was still hurting. So I saw Dr Werner, the only area orthopedic surgeon who specializes in feet/ankles. He was great. Terrific manner.

Dr Kelly is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon. I have no pain finally after 10 years of constant hip issues. I would recommend him to everyone.

Our first experience with OIP was this past winter. Our son had a snow boarding accident. He decided to tough it out through the night on Friday. By Saturday morning, it was obvious that he needed medical attention. Rather than go through the hassle of trying to set something up with our family practice, or go to the emergency room, I remembered an ad for OIP. They are right around the corner, and seemed a perfect fit for this type of injury. My wife and son were seen quickly on a Saturday morning. He was diagnosed with a broken collar bone and came home in a sling, which is about all they do for this injury. I went with him to two follow-up visits during which everything was smooth, prompt, and professional.

This facility has a bit of an assembly line feel to it that may take some people some getting used to. Personally, I loved the efficiency, and at no point did it feel cold or impersonal. I really don't care for the waiting and delays that I experience at most medical practices. So the efficiency was actually a welcome change for me, and sent me the message that these people value my time as much as I do. Whether an apt or a walk-in, we have gone quickly and smoothly through check-in, then onto x-ray or some other diagnostic procedure, then been seen promptly by the appropriate doctor, nurse, or technician.

I give OIP high marks all around. As the future of medicine, this may not be everyone's cup of tea, and there are situations where I might still want a more old-fashioned approach. But for the circumstances that we used OIP, everything was spot on.
