Mr. Hoffer was an active participant only to get the listing and closing. He did meet promptly to review the property and was anxious to get it listed with him. We reviewed his agreement with us, in person and step-by-step. He recommended listing the house at $13,000 less than the previous Realtor, even with $14,000 in upgrades done to the house since then. Mr. Hoffer recommended taking the first offer at list price AND with $12,000 in buyer assistance. Plus, there was the additional cost of inspection repairs added on which were only required due to the buyer's mortgager. Eric sent the Agreement of Sale electronically with no offer to review in person. There was no guidance from Mr. Hoffer when the buyer missed deadlines. His negotiation skills are lacking and he made no effort to work in the Seller's best interest, only his own. Mr. Hoffer seemed to be looking for a quick sale and commission. If not for his assistant, Lynn, we would have fired him before the sale.
