We had a clogged sewer line. I regret calling this company -- my worst experience with a repair service. The first plumber couldn't find the house trap to clear the sewer line. A second plumber came hours later and couldn't find it, either. This guy was rude. He suggested calling a third person with a camera for an extra $350 and about $750 of total charges. I declined and just offered to pay what we owed for their time, which at that point he said was $250. Instead, he said he'd keep looking for the line, without telling me that he would charge hundreds of dollars per hour to wander around the yard. They eventually found it and cleared the line. In the process, though, they took off two boards from our back steps. They pried off one board and broke the screws, leaving it unsecured. They didn't properly screw down the second board when they were done, either, so now the steps are uneven. In the end, he charged me $710, anyway, despite not bringing the camera, which was supposed to be the most expensive step. All around unsatisfactory.

Would hire again for sure. Fast service, right to the point. Cleaned both lines, in about an hour. Called for service at 7:45 AM and was at the house at 9:00 AM. Tylor did a great job. Price was really good. I will used them in the future for any problems with drains. CR

Called and they came out within two hours to the house. I appreciated the professionalism and truthfulness of the technician who said that he would try to snake the main line but may have to pull the toilet. He indeed needed to pull the toilet and that was the right call. Blockage was corrected, and all was back in place within a hour or so. I will call them again should I need their services again.

I called Drain Doctors and they came over within a couple of hours. The technician used an auger to get some tree roots out of the water pipe.

These guys are magicians. I truly cannot say enough good things about them. My lines are underground. We didn't know where the lines were, where the blockage was. He put water in. He could hear where the water was flowing and he could hear where the water stopped. He is like a modern day dowser. He was able to discover exactly what the problem was. They did the roto rooter thing but suggested the fiber thing to see exactly where it was. The owner came out and didn't charge me for the second visit. The price was fair, reasonable, cheap. He's probably in his late twenties / early thirties. He is a gift. We've only had one big rain since then and my basement was dry. I am waiting for another galosh just to be sure the problem is solved completely.

Amazing ability to identify what was causing problem, create relatively simple fix with recommendations for further work if desired. These guys are true professionals who kept at it until found cause of problem.

Very good. I had called another company that advertises a $99 main cleanout, but when they arrived, there were all sorts of reasons why they couldn't do it and needed to charge $500. I sent them packing. Now the day was half shot, and I still had a problem. I checked some reviews here and found Drain Doctors was local so maybe they would have someone coming or going to their shop that could fix my problem. Sure enough, they were able to come out same afternoon and did a good job. The first attempt cleared the problem at 30-40 feet, but Brandon wanted to run the larger cutter down, and there were some problems getting it in the cleanout, which took some extra time meaning extra dollars. But he got the large cutter in and ran it out the full 100 feet, way past the tree in our front yard, so I know I'm good to go for a long time, and that was worth the extra time

I was very pleased. They were very nice young men. Very professional, got the drain cleared quickly and the cost was not nearly what I feared it would be! I would hire them again without a 2nd thought.

This provider is the best! Original consult was quite awhile ago. Proposed what would be done, but recommended corrective action on property frontage by PennDOT on this state roadway before attempting any permanent solution. Once that was addressed, we were able to schedule their efforts within weeks. They performed all proposed work, when each phase was scheduled. Called prior to each effort, and after to confirm all was well. I'd highly recommend them for any job. Honest, hard-working, delivers as promised. Really appreciate Jes's integrity in delaying an immediate job for a future one and a better solution for us as customers.

These guys were amazing! We discovered that we had a blocked main sewer on Sunday night. We called first thing Monday morning and they were at our house by 9am. The drain was open an hour later. The tech even swept all the blackwater out of our garage when he was done. Superior service, excellent price and quality work!

Listened to my problem.

Told me his plan to remedy the problem.

Completely fixed the problem.

Explained to me how to care for my plumbing.

Gave me payment options.

Processed my payment.

The entire job took very little time.

The repairman left some trash in the plunger bucket instead of the trash.

The ease & speed of the repair seemed expensive.

  • Company was able to come out on a Saturday at short notice. Tenants clogged the sewer drain... again. Serviceman was professional, competent. Had it unclogged in approx. 30 mins. Highly recommended. Am definitely relying on the Drain Doctors exclusively for all my rentals from this point forward.

Called on Wednesday the 22nd.  They were there early in the morning to perform the work on the 23rd.
Called in advance to let us know the service tech was on the way.
Professional, no muss, no fuss.
Another contractor had said the sanitary line was hopelessly plugged and would have to be replaced (at a cost in several thousand dollars.)  Drain doctor did the work for $175.00
ADVICE:  ALWAYS get a second (or third) opinion for work to be done.  If I hadn't I would have spent over $5000.00 for work that actually cost $175.00
I'd hire these people again any time sanitary line work needs done.

They did a very good job. I was very pleased. I called them on a Friday evening. They came off on Saturday morning at 8 o' clock. Within an hour, they were in and out. Everything was done perfectly. It was after the big snow. In order to get to the valve outside, they had to shovel their way back into it. He came into the house. He put booties on his feet so that he didn’t track mud or anything through the house. Anything happens within six months; they will come back free of charge and do the work over again. I was very impressed. One man was there by himself. I think it was one of the owners; three brothers are the owners. I though the price was awesome. I thought it was awesome to have a plumber come to our house on a Saturday. They said that they would be there at 8, and they were there at 5 to 8 actually. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Raw sewage backed up through the floor drain in my basement, of course on the weekend.  My regular plumber recommended I call Drain Doctors, who came out on a Saturday.  They arrived promply, assessed the situation immediately, and helped to move stored "stuff" around the basement to gain access to the indoor trap.  After struggling valiantly to get their heavy equipent down the steep, narrow stairs to my basement, the drain was running clear in just a few minutes, then they cleaned up the muck left on the floor around the drain when it opened.  The Drain Doctors were professional, courteous, and experienced with the ancient sewer lines predominant in my town..  And did I mention, reasonably priced?  All in all, they made a horrible situation go away in a timely and efficient manner.

Drain Doctors did a great job helping me out as my main sewer line was clogged.  I called on Thursday and they showed up to do the job on Friday.  Brandon was very professional and I also pointed out I had a leaking water pipe.  $175.00 is their standard price for the main sewer line and he only charged me an extra $100.00 to fix my water pipe.  Brandon saved me a DIY project and I appreciate him taking the time to do the extra work.  I will continue to use Drain Doctors when needed.

My basement floor drain had clogged and every time I ran the washing machine, it backed up all over my floor. It also backed up when we took showers. Called Drain Doctors, Brandon arrived and cleared the drain. He made sure when the shower ran and my other sinks, that the clog was cleared. No more overflow when I ran my washer. Brandon was terrific, very polite and professional. I had used Drain Doctor several years ago and was happy with them, and they certainly have my vote again. Great job, thank you.
