Anderson Pro Painting

The Anderson Pro Painting crew did a great job of both meticulous prep work and multiple coats of paint over the entire house. They came in with enough people and the right equipment to get the job done properly and efficiently. The whole project was very smooth and I'm very happy with the results.

They were very thorough, prompt, and clean. The quality of work that they provided was amazing. I just can?t say enough good things about them and would hire them again without hesitation.

Kevin was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive, estimate was provided quickly, and they started the job two days after they provided us the estimate. The work included painting two bedrooms with trim (they also painted the mantle/fireplace in the master). Seth was the crew leader, and the team did a fantastic job. It was so worth the money to pay the pros- paint and supplies was included in the price, and the job was done in two days. We felt like we got a great deal. I would highly recommend Anderson ProPainting to anyone looking for interior painters. 

Doug was very responsive and called back the same day I contacted him.  Very impressive.  He finished the repairs when he said he would and provided updates as needed.  Definitely a "hire again", the professionalism is great.

Doug emailed me a very detailed estimate within a day of his site visit. After I decided to use his company we agreed upon a start date and the time the crew would arrive. He told me what to expect and that the entire job could be completed in a week. He uses regular employees (no subcontractors). His crew was great. They arrived each day at the time they said they would. They worked diligently. They scheduled their breaks/lunch around times they were waiting for paint to dry. They kept me informed throughout the week. To my surprise, mid week they had a double crew (4 guys) show up and work and that allowed them to finish on Thursday. It was great. I just stayed out of their way and checked on them every so often.

I found Anderson Pro Painting on Angie's list. I called and made an appointment to meet Doug Anderson at a house we just bought to get a quote for priming and painting the complete interior. Doug was prompt and very professional throughout the process. I explained that it was very important to us to eliminate the previous owner's cigarette smoke odor, and yellowing of the walls. I also stressed that we were in a bit of a hurry because we had already scheduled flooring to be installed and the painting needed to be done quickly to meet that schedule. Doug understood all of our needs and was sure they could be met.
Due to Hurricane Sandy, the job got started a couple of days late, understandable, but once the guys came in they worked long and hard to get the job done and meet our needs. They had to redo a few spots that were badly stained due to the cigarette smoke but had no problems coming back. Doug and Shane both called at the end to be sure we were satisfied with the job.
There was some over spray in the kitchen (on stove and TV), paint in the bathroom sinks, some issues with replacing window hardware, and minor things that we addressed with Doug. Doug repeatedly said he wanted us to be completely satisfied. Some things they took care of on a return trip, but due to the rush we put them in, the rest was taken care of with a deduction from the bill. I would use Anderson Pro Painting on future projects, Doug and his guys are very professional, very prompt and courteous. They communicated throughout the job and made every effort to meet the needs and budget of our situation. I would probably give them more time on the next job to allow for more attention to detail.

Came first day and cleaned house. Next day did all taping off and removed shutters, Started painting house but had few days of rain and couldn't paint but came back as soon as we got a good day finished siding, painted shutters, chimney and cellar doors then replaced shutters. Was tickled to death with the outcome, looks great. Was a little more than I wanted to spend but am very pleased.

Everything went well although they did spill paint on my drive way but were able to clean it up.

They were very prompt. They said they could do it in two weeks and they ended up starting it the next day. The job was fine. I thought they could have scraped and sanded more but the other painters I had didn't do much more than that either. They did scrape some and they went back and scraped some more. They also did some pressure washing. He is insured.

Doug Anderson, the owner, is easy to work with and is very responsive. He showed up when he said he would for the estimate, returned all phone calls promptly and was understanding whenever we had problems choosing colors, etc. He worked to move the process forward but was never pushy about it. The day the job was to start the painters showed up when they said they would and got right to work. The job was finished very quickly and was done better than I could have done it myself and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. The project manager, Shane, was excellent. He is a perfectionist himself and I quickly learned to trust that he would make sure that things were done right. For example, he didn't like the way the one wall looked in the great room after two coats and so went ahead and put a third coat on. This was the largest wall in the biggest room they had to work on. He also didn't like the way one of the hall walls looked and had that repainted also. What was equally remarkable in all of this was that all of the workers with him were equally professional in addition to being good painters. There were a good number of painters in the house at one point and they all worked together as a team to help each other and not to get in each other's way. They also all interacted well with us and were talkative, friendly and polite. It isn't easy to find people who are both technically proficient and have good interpersonal skills. Anderson seems to have managed to do this and deserves a lot of credit for doing it so well. Of course all of this is not to say that there were no mistakes that needed to be corrected, you can't do a job this size and not miss something, but there weren't many problems. Shane conducted a walk through with us and took care of any and all problems we pointed out. All in all this was a great experience. This is the first time I've hired someone to paint the interior of my house. I've always done this myself in the past but the valuted ceiling was more than I was willing to tackle. I have other work that will need to be done in the future and I will be contacting Doug again to arrange to have this work done.
