I still go in whenever I need a belt. They are the same price as Amazon but for another $10-$15 they will put the belt on for you. Some of those belts are so hard to get on.
I also had a problem with my Windtunnel recently; it was making a funny noise. I took it in, and even though they were pretty busy, and young lady turned on my sweeper and got down on the floor and listened to it and then swept with is a little. She said she was pretty sure the brush roller was worn and took it in the back. They brought our my roller and a new one and it was obvious that the grove on mine was worn so the belt was moving around. It cost me about $20-$30 for a new roller and to have them put it on.
They are all very nice at Sweeper City and I highly recommend them. There aren't many people who will actually repair sweepers anymore and we have friends who come all the way from Pittsburgh.
I told Bill that I have chronic pain and he showed me this sweeper that
weighs only 8lbs and works great. I love it but it doesn't have attachments
(which would make it heavier). They sell all brands of vacuums, even the
high end ones, but they also have a huge selection of refurbished vacuums that
will save you money.
I most recently took my old Hoover Windtunnel in because it was making a
funny noise. A girl (sorry I didn't get her name) plugged it in, turned
it one and got down on the floor and listened to it. She then ran it a
few times and knew exactly what was wrong. The brush bar was too worn and
the belts weren't being held in position correctly. I didn't even know
that could happen! While I waited they installed a new one for an extra
$15, which I thought was a bargain because those belts are so hard to get on
with that sweeper.
I rate them an A+ and hope they stay in business forever.
