Ken Wagner Tree

About us

Regardless of your income, the work denotes the cost. Ken Wagner Tree offers the same high standards and low costs on every job site. The finished product will be explained as well as provided by me. You may be interested in completing some of the job yourself. However, we can usually complete the given work at an expense which makes doing it yourself impractical, given our equipment and experience. You may enjoy and have time for some aspects of the work. The magnitude and scope of the work entailed will be explained and priced in multiple fashions to suit your interests and intentions We are well-versed with complex to simple work. We take care of things in the most efficient ways possible. We are constantly working on simplifying the work we enjoy so that we may directly pass along all of our competitiveness to our customers. We take pride in our work and accomplishments, making sure the end result makes sense and is carried out as we would want it done on our own property. We have a completely compliant safety program making our way the correct way to do work. I like to think the cost associated with challenging work is substantiated by handling risks rather than taking them. Services *Removals – any tree, anywhere, as well as honest hazard assessments. *Stump and root removal to a pre-discussed specification, keeping in mind what your plans are in the future on-site. *Directional pruning to discourage growth in unwanted areas. *Thinning and training: preventive maintenance that can be done correctly in conjunction with more pressing work (removals), as much as desired. We can offer you the satisfaction of getting in front of the work and protecting things you value. *Dead wooding and cabling: addressing concerns with larger to mature trees – only as is sensible. *Crown reduction: in cases where a tree's size can be limited or maintained. Though we have been contacted from business cards kept from previous decades, we are providing this online resource as a service to keep in touch with customers as we enter a new era of business. My father successfully ran this business for twenty-four years and I have taken over the business this past year. People have been surprised to see us out in some of the less-traveled areas thinking we would no longer be here after all this time. We're still here. No customer dissatisfaction to date. Feel free to rate our work and share your experience. All calls are returned promptly and all work is carried out in the time frame agreed upon. We are a family-run business with strong values. We work hard to keep employees with positive attitudes and dependable performances, as well as up-to-date and well-maintained equipment. We have a positive outlook doing our best to keep up our diligence, applied intellect, and fortitude: American keepsakes. We offer 24 Hour Emergency & Storm Damage Service Call us today!

Ken did an awesome job pruning our trees. Approximately 10 of them.Especially the huge plum in front of the house. It was very overgrown. His price was more than reasonable. Had other estimates and they wanted for one tree what Ken did for ten.

Service was provided 10/7/14. Ken and his crew showed up at the time he said they would. Ken and his crew introduced themselves and got right to work. They cut down 2 trees that were over 60 feet high and could have caused problems if left standing. They cut the trees in 16 to 18 inch lengths which made handling by me very easy. They cleaned the area and stacked the wood. They did a very good job.

Ken and his crew were very professional. I would recommend Ken Wagner very highly.

Ken came out and gave us a quote on Tuesday and then was out on friday for the work. It worked out with the rain we have had and my property/drive being on gravel that he could get the work done quickly. I have nasty 50-70 foot trees lining on both of my property and the way they are positioned between my house and the neighbor it wasn't going to be easy. He was more than fair with his price and took them down. I stood out watching his hard workers and himself not as a house owner watching for a mistake but watching how they meticulously took them down, wow. The trees he took down were so overgrown and twined into each other it was a hard job. I would recommend his company to the three tops! Thank you Ken and his hard workers!

The owner and his son are great. They gave us, by far, the best price of all quotes we received. They allowed us to pay over time after putting down a deposit and professionally removed the trees on the property. I think it's normal for the tree business, but I never knew when they were coming and when they would next appear. I got home one day and they were hard at work. If it rained, sometimes they came and other times they didn't; it was very random. My only negative comment was that we do have some valleys in our yard where trees were dropped; I was told this wouldn't happen, but it did. I also was a bit disappointed that they said they would fill in the stump ground area with new dirt, but they actually used wood chips and the dirt that was there from grinding. However, we didn't get that in writing and my husband didn't want to confront them about it, so that's our fault. They probably forgot and we didn't remind them. Overall, though, they did a great job at an awesome price.

We were able to coordinate our services with several of our neighbors, who also needed trees removed, and were given an excellent price due to the volume of work. The founder of the company, Ken Sr., came out to give us an estimate and made sure that we were fully informed as to the services they would perform, the cost, and educated us on the importance of hiring a company that is insured to perform tree removal. We scheduled the work and when they came out to do the job, they were incredibly professional and efficient. They did everything that we agreed upon plus a little extra, and asked us to authorize any unexpected work that would incur additional cost. They ground all of our stumps down and removed any firewood that would be unusable. The only issue we had is that the current owner, Ken Jr., was a little hard to get ahold of.

He was here for several days. Our house sits in a field bordered by woods. A lot of trees in the woods were in need of coming down or their branches needed to come down. He took out a total of a dozen of trees. Five of those were not huge but the rest were. He took out a lot of huge branches and took out the stumps with those grinding machines. He hauled away all the trash and he was very good about that and he didn't leave a mess. He was very skillful and he is an arborist. He doesn't just go and hacks trees and he knows how they should grow. He knows where to cut the branches so that they would fill out and not fill out depending on what you are trying to achieve. He seems to have a lot of experience of it in the North-East of the country where a lot of logging happens. I would highly recommend him. He wasn't unreasonable price wise. He did the job in a couple of blocks. He came one day and then he had to wait for the ground till it was firmed up and not soggy. He had to go in our yard to access some of the trees on the tree line. He did a lot of work out here and I don't have anything negative to say about him. I plan to use him again.
