I give them high grading all around. The only reason we did not go with them was their quote was out of the ballpark. The owner came out with an architect and they were very professional. They listened and had lots of ideas. They understood our budget constraints. We had to actually hound them for the actual quote. I think that the quote was prepared by somebody who didn't really talk to the gentlemen who came out. There seemed to be a disconnect between the person who did the quote and those who came out to look at the job. They were actually the most proactive in terms of coming up with ideas. They would have been on the top of our list but their price was just out of the ballpark. I would consider them in the future if they dropped their prices.

John Gemmi is extremely customer-oriented. He strives to meet and beat expectations. He has a can do attitude as do his staff, who are very pleasant. The project was done on time and within budget. The staff is very accommodating. For example, when the sink I had picked out appeared to large for the space, one of the crew exchanged it and got back in time to have it installed without affecting the schedule. John and his team are very focused on customer satisfaction and are not happy until the customer is satisfied. I had used Gemmi Construction previously for a major kitchen renovation and am planning on hiring them in the near future for another project. I recommend them without qualification for any kind of home renovation project.
