raI thought I had a physical problem with the camera -- getting black frames rather than images. Within 30 seconds of looking at the camera, the Camera Shop staffer noticed that I had inadvertantly mis-set the camera on a setting that would result in black frames (too-fast shutter speed). He showed me the problem, showed me how the came should be set, pointed out some other helpful things, and didn't laugh, even once. I've been totally happy with them -- bought my camera there and have been back when I've needed a few things.

The Camera Shop in Bryn Mawr is a family-owned business, not a chain store.
The highest quality possible for printing and developing film is at Camera Shop. The price is expensive, but the quality of the printing is incredible. The people there are very professional and they take their time with you. They look at every picture they develop, and they correct whatever needs to be corrected. They helped me select which pictures to develop for a photography show. I like the professional feedback I get with them. Camera Shop is really not about the money, but about the quality.

They do an excellent job with anything that is given to them, but they are not cheap. I would use them again in the future.

The Camera Shop has always done exemplary work. Their photo lab technicians are true artists who know what they are doing. For this roll, I dropped it off the night before. The prints were ready the next day. The lab personnel checked every print, and in fact re-printed several images two or three times, making appropriate adjustments to the color. I have tried other photo finishers but always return to The Camera Shop, whether for slides or for prints. They have also done reprints and enlargements for me to great effect.
