They are pleasant, nice to work with and caring.

He was thorough and kind, and the staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Great followup, which is good because my gums had started bleeding and I was in pain. They recommended several ways to alleviate the pain. However, the pricing was a downside. My price for this dentist AFTER insurance was close to $1,800, which I had been quoted it would be around $1,500. My dentist at home in Florida had a quote, for same work and same insurance, for $1,089. The service was great, but the price was not desirable. I was very impressed that he told me I could go to their lab and have them match my exact tooth color for my crowns! Definitely a plus.

The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. They explained everything that they were doing and why which is very helpful if you have any anxiety about going to the dentist. They answered all my questions and concerns. Excellent first visit.

I have been using Dr. Matt as my dentist for over 20 years.  Over that entire time, his care has been outstanding, every time. From the office staff, to the hygienists and assistants, to Dr. Matt himself, everything about this dental office is outstanding.  I recommend without reservation.

The visit ended up being two visits.  The staff were always very friendly and willing to go out of their way to make themselves comfortable.
I was nervous about the Novocaine, but Camille did a great job making that painless.  She also did a great job with the treatment and making sure I was not experiencing any pain.
Lisa did a great job in the beginning with the initial scans and xrays and was very patient.
Lucy was very helpful when Dr. Matt was working on my main issue.
Dr. Matt took the time to determine the cause of my problem and is very concerned about getting my dental health back on track.
He has also invested in technology, or maybe that shows how long I have avoided the dentist chair.  I was very impressed with the use of technology, not only to diagnose the problem, but to treat the issue as well.
I guess what made me write this review was that I wanted to find a dentist that cares and treats a new patient with as much dignity and respect as a current, long-term patient.  
Thanks to the front office staff as well for making the visit an experience that I will want to repeat.

I have extremely sensitive teeth and I have always been extremely anxious about going to the dentist. Dr. Matt and his team totally understand my fears and do everything possible to make me feel at ease. The atmosphere has a cheery feel. I am always greeted with friendly smiling faces and I never have to wait. The office is clean, relaxed and is always up to date with the latest state of the art technology.
Camille does a fabulous job, meticulously yet gently, cleaning my teeth and even making me laugh. Dr. Matt has a ton of patience, pleasantly spending more than enough time explaining all of my options, answering all of my many questions and waiting for me to decide to move forward.

I happen to like everything about this office. I used to absolutely HATE going to the dentist. Then I stumbled upon Dr. Matt 15+ years ago. I have been his patient ever since.. He is knowledgeable, gentle and truly seems to give a d*** about his patients. And, he is a great guy!! He has had staff changes over the years, but his people have always seemed to be above the curve.

We had been going to the same dentist for 30 years.  He was a very good dentist.  This year my insurance changed and he no longer took my plan.  In our search for a new dentist, we wanted to find someone who was equal to or better than our previous dentist.  We believe we have achieved that goal.  Dr. Matt was very thorough in his evaluation and in his work.  He is clearly an excellent dentist who takes pride in his work.  He explained everything he was going to do before he did it and made sure I was comfortable at all times.  He has a very high tech practice with all of the latest, most minimally invasive equipment, i.e. x-rays, the monitor which showed everything he was doing, etc.  My husband and I are very satisfied being in Dr. Matt's care.

Dr. Matt and his staff are awesome. ?As a phobic patient, Dr. Matt took me in and made me feel as comfortable as possible. ?After not going to the dentist for years, I needed a lot of work so he did a thorough examination and we came up with an affordable strategy for my needed dental care. ?He even opened the office for me on a day that they were usually closed so he could spend uninterrupted time getting me back to having a healthy mouth. Dr. Matt is knowledgeable, professional, and patient focused. ?His staff is just as good as he is, and they take pride in their work. ?I highly recommend him.

Dr. Matt was excellent. He thoroughly inspected my mouth and dental work. He did identify the problem areas that I suspected would need re-work and I felt confident that his work was thorough and complete.

He has been my dentist for 20 years and he is the kindest, smartest dentist in the world. I have never had an issue with him and the office environment is beautiful. I will use him again in the future.

Dr. Matt teaches at the dental school at Penn, and he's always bringing in new technology or techniques to his practice. He's always learning -- i really like that about him. He's a gentle dentist, and a kind man who cares about my (and my family's) general well-being. His prices can be high, and some of my family (with different dental plans) have found it challenging to keep coming to Dr. Matt. But he's well worth the extra expense in my book (I can't complain, either, since my dental plan covers almost all of his fees). He's even been willing to work out payment plans when I was in school, or when my brother was between jobs. He wants to get paid, of course, but i genuinely believe that he puts the health of his patients first. I had many cavities as a child, and many fillings as a result -- Dr. Matt has preserved my teeth from further damage. I'm conscientious about my personal dental hygiene, and having a skilled practitioner like Dr. Matt (and his fab long-term staff) has really made a difference in the overall quality and health of my smile. His office is located very close to the R5 Bryn Mawr stop, making it super convenient. And he holds very early a.m. hours, making it easy to get to work on time after an appointment. Thank you Dr. Matt -- I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great Main Line dentist.

Dr. Matt has a wonderful bedside manner, is highly skilled, non-patronizing, friendly and has a calm manner. I don't feel I'm being pushed to purchase any crazy cosmetic items. He also is a teaching professor, so it's obvious he is top notch.
