Alec did a terrific job replacing my HVAC system I needed done. He always showed up when he said he would and was very thorough replacing my HVAC system. The first time I got him was through my home warranty company and the second time I needed my water heater replaced I actually requested Alec’s company. I plan on continuing to use them when I need things done. Their work was excellent.

Alek did a fantastic install of a water softener system in our house. He made sure to test our water beforehand so unnecessary items wouldn’t be installed. During the installation he noticed our water heater was corroded at the bottom and suggested a replacement. 3 months later we couldn't be happier at the professional install and price. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Modern Heating & Cooling quickly contacted after requesting quote for my furnace that went on the blink. Scheduled visit for 2 days later. He diagnosed bad control board and quoted repair cost. Seemed reasonable to me so part was ordered and installed.

Alec was amazing! He explained everything that needed to be done, and it was all complete in one day. When I had trouble with a small leak, he came right over the same day to troubleshoot and fixed it within minutes. Highly recommended.

The work seems to have been done well and on time. The initial quote was high, but after getting some other bids, they reduced the price.

The initial price seemed high so I got a competitive bid. He matched the bid which was considerably lower than his initial price. He did the work promptly and it is working well. He was professional and prompt. I have no complaints about the work done.

Everything went well. All of my questions were answered and Alec would return my phone calls rather quickly. It is usually difficult to find a trustworthy person and someone who knows what they are doing, but Alec "makes the grade." I highly recommend.

Aleck, owner of this company, provided a complete 3 part evaluation of my 12 year old A/C system. He reported that everything was functioning properly but did advise me that I may need a specific part in 1 or 2 years. Aleck was prompt, polite, professional, and completed his evaluation in a timely manner.  I would use Modern again as the need arises.

Alek was super easy to work with. He was able to schedule our service a month in advance and was even early to arrive. He worked quickly and cleanly and explained everything at length. While I hope to not need a plumber for any major repairs, it's great to know I can trust them to do the work.

Arrived promptly on time and performed the inspection quickly. However I am not sure all the items on the 20-pt. checklist were performed. Permanent air filter was not cleaned, but the technician did inform that it should be rinsed. I requested an estimate to replace my old system and received it the next day.

The technician arrived on time and went about his work efficiently. He alerted me to the possibility of potential future issues with our cooling system but did not try to aggressively upsell me on any additional services or products which I greatly appreciated. He pointed out some warning signs I might look for with our aging system which I also appreciated.

Went great. Arrived on time, work was done in about 3 hours which was less than expected. Very polite and professional. Did great work, cleaned up and left no trace that anyone had been there.
