About us

Phoenix Audio/Video Specialists was founded by two former installation managers of Tweeter Home Entertainment, a high-end Audio/Video retailer. We created Phoenix because we believe that there is still a place for independent dealers who take pride in their work and offer the individual attention that many forgot even existed. While many companies lost sight of that goal a long time ago, these are our core values. We sell and install a full range of residential and commercial audio/video products. Our prices are always competitive with our competition, and we warranty on our installations. We are authorized for all of the brands that we carry, meaning you will always receive the full manufacturer's warranty. We offer free on-site consultations and cover the areas of Delaware, Southeastern PA, South Jersey and Maryland. Our PA Home Improvement Contractor Registration Number is PA055353.

We originally hired Phoenix in December 2020 when we moved into our new home to help us set up the previously installed home automation and hook up all new TVs and make some enhancements to the system. We also sourced a brand new TV through them to our main family room. That work was completed well and we were generally happy at the time. However, since then we have tried to expand the home automation system to outside and despite multiple follow ups and calls to complain about the lack of response, we never received a response for our request to expand to the outdoor system which could have been a sizable project for Phoenix. At one point someone specifically told us that they were going to escalate it to the owner and still we never heard back. Today our TV (which we bought through Phoenix back in 2020) was not working, I was extremely unsatisfied with the length of time that it was going to take for a technician to come out to help us. We will be finding another vendor. I was told that they are down a man and it seems they simply don’t have the bandwidth to provide outstanding customer service.
