A representative came to our home, by appointment and performed an extensive review. We had specific concerns regarding heat loss and lack of insulation. Provided vague feedback via email which included some internal temperature variances and infrared photos of the outside of our property, showing heat loss. The representative assured us that he would get back to us with a comprehensive overview and estimate of what it would take to improve energy efficiency in our home. We have not seen one report. I contacted the representative several (at least 5) times and his response was always, I'll have something to you by end of week. It has been a VERY cold winter.

Work was performed exactly as specified in the proposal and they finished in the estimated number of days.  The crew was a delight; very careful and professional in the home.  My husband and I are shocked at how much warmer our basement is with just the band joist spray-foam.  Second floor is much warmer as well.
Looking forward to seeing lower oil consumption this winter, and reduced electric this summer.

The team from Orange Energy was very professional and responsive to my concerns. I worked closely with Spencer Marte to define the scope of the work. Spencer is attentive to detail -- his commitment to customer service was apparent in his flexibility and willingness to do everything necessary to make sure my experience was a good one. The team that removed the sheetrock left my house as clean as they found it -- I dreaded the mess and was surprised to find them vacuuming and using a wet Swiffer to clean up at the end of the day. Orange Energy subcontracts the insulation work, which is overseen by one of their own employees. The insulators did an awesome job of applying the foam between the joists. The job is messy and I would have liked them to have done a better job of draping plastic over the walls and floors. BUT, when I complained to Spencer about the residue that was left (it wasn't much, but enough for me not to want to do it myself), Spencer sent out a crew to clean up and also add additional foam to a couple of areas on the lower level that had not been part of the original scope of work.

I am completely satisfied with the work that was done, and I cannot get over the difference the insulation makes. I have a four-story house and, prior to the insulation, there was a noticeable change in temperature as you went up the stairs to the top floor. The room I use as an office was too uncomfortable to work in during the summer and the air conditioning had little effect. The top floor is now completely comfortable and I am looking forward to lower heating and cooling bills. I would recommend Orange Energy without reservation.

It went very well. They finished on time, gave daily reports, and the energy efficiency improvements, as measured at completion exceeded their projections. The house has been really comfortable through this bitter winter, and our heating/cooling bills have been much lower.

All improvements were made to our 50-year old row home, which had its original windows, doors and heating system, and lacked insulation of any kind. The Orange Energy Team, led by Dave, swooped in and were finished in 6 business days. Team members were efficient and courteous and cleaned up every day. Subcontractors were used for roofing and HVAC, and they too were efficient, clean and polite. At the end of each business day, Dave gave us an update of what had been done that day and what would be done the next day. We value good communication, so this meant a lot to us.
We sit, on this warm October evening, in our air conditioned home and are comfortable on all three levels of our home. We showered in a bathroom that did not steam up because we now have a quiet fan that vents steam through the roof. Our home is quieter because our windows and doors are more efficient. And, we look forward to lower energy bills.
The project cost came in at just $300 over budget, which was fine. I wished for more ownership of miscommunication issues by the sales manager during the planning stage, and told him so, to no effect. Still, we rate the project a huge success.

Orange Energy Solutions LLC was excellent. They were great and very thorough. They did comprehensive reports. They gave the solutions on what we would do.

Great experience with this service provider, which we found through the PA ECA (Energy Coordinating Agency). Scott Sidlow-manager of building analysis-performed the audit. Scott knows his business and was kind and communicative throughout. It is hard to have a stranger in your home for six hours, but Scott earned my trust. He also provided key information about low-interest funding available in PA right now. It is likely we will carry out the recommendations provided by Orange Energy.

Excellent experience. Scott Sidlow did the assessment and provided the estimate. He was extremely thorough, very polite and professional from beginning to end. Once the work was scheduled, the crew arrived on time and finished within the timeframe they told me. They were all courteous, professional, hard working, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to do home energy improvements. BTW, house is now nice and warm in the winter, there aren't any drafty rooms anymore and there is an even temperature throughout the house which was not the case before they did the work. Heating bill has also been drastically reduced. Nice!
