Katie Electric was able to do the work on time and on budget. He did a thorough assessment before making a proposal and was candid and helpful in explaining options and approaches. (I had others in looking at the same job who made only a cursory assessment and returned with an estimate subject to numerous variables and at over twice the cost.
Katie Electric made the project pricing simple and all inclusive. I have worked with a number of electricians over the years rehabbing, adding onto, etc. houses. Katie Electric, and Vic Pearce are the best to date. They know old houses and wiring, know about new solutions and new construction, know the code and inspection process for both.
They are not afraid on projects that are complex (or require getting hands dirty.), and they are aware of and employ the most cost effective solutions. Unlike many other electricians, they are aware of how their work impacts other people - both other trades (dry wall contractors for example) and occupants of the house (in this case my wife and me). Their work minimized damage in removing the old wiring, and kept power to critical areas on during the entire project. Most importantly, Vic did what it took to complete the job and inspection process in a short timeframe for this type of project.
