GIANT FOOD STORE

Have been using the Peapod Giant grocery delivery service for several months now.  The drivers are courteous and usually on time.  Out-of-stock items don't happen that often.  The website is nicely designed and easy to use, and the same is true of their iPad app. 
They do have room for improvement, though.  One is to stop packing vertically things that should only be packed horizontally, such as pies and drippy fruit trays. No one wants fruit juice dripping from a bag onto their living room carpet, and no one wants warped pumpkin pie.  Another is to deliver eggs without breaking them; this has happened so often that I just won't order eggs from them any more.  BTW:  Once I was told by a driver that I'd get a refund on my broken eggs, and she filled out a form, but nothing on the web site indicated that the refund ever came though when I placed my next order.  They need to be more responsible and transparent about such things.
Finally, it's difficult to tell them what I've just told Angie's list.  They only have a toll-free number, which I called and was told by the automated system that I'd have to wait 10 minutes.  (Forget that!)  Why don't they have a place for customer feedback on their website?  After all, we aren't living in the 1990's any more.

I started going to them because of price and then I got to know them. They are very nice and accommodating. If I forget to call it in I can just tell them what I need and they will get it while I am shopping. If I call and forget to pick it up they will call me the next day. They know me by my first name, which is very nice. My out of pocket was about $30 the last time I was there.
