Pat was responsive when I first reached out, provided a written quote the same day we met, answered all of my questions and made adjustments where requested. The work was scheduled more quickly than I anticipated and Pat, Anthony and their crew even showed up early that day. They were all friendly and professional and when a couple questions arose during their work, they made sure to ask how I'd like things done. Everything was completed in one day and they left the site clean. I'm thrilled with the finished product and I've received many compliments from neighbors as well. Highly recommend!

The biggest issue with asphalt contractors is getting them to return your calls and keep the appointments. From the start Anthony responded quickly, kept his appointment, quoted quickly, and got the job scheduled and completed quickly. They even left a Q&A kind about how to maintain my new driveway. Pat and his Crew did an exceptional job replacing our 35 year old Asphalt driveway (approx. 700 square feet) with Commercial , Airport Grade Asphalt as we are on an incline and need the extra traction. From the estimate to the actual installation, Pat answered all of our questions and returned all of our phone calls. As promised, the job was completed in one day and we received a discount for being Angie's List members. He provided post-installation instructions on maintenance and care of the new asphalt driveway. We were extremely happy with his work and professionalism , and would not hesitate to use him again.

This was our first big home improvement project that required us to hire contractors, and we were nervous about the process, but Pat instantly put us at ease. Compared to the other contractors we had interviewed, we were immediately impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He returned our initial call quickly, and patiently answered all of our many questions. From the get go, Pat was a pleasure to work with! He listened carefully to the scope of our project and offered his best professional advice. We worked off of his initial estimate, making several adjustments to bring the project within our budget without sacrificing the scope of what we wanted to accomplish. He was so flexible throughout that process! We were especially appreciative that DIO does not require a deposit. It made us feel confident that not only would DIO make our project a priority, but that they would do their best work. And they did! Once work was schedule to begin, Pat and his crew completed the project in just five days. They did their best to minimize damage to our lawn and landscaping from the heavy equipment, and they were careful to keep the work area as clean and free of debris as possible. They were respectful of my neighbors properties, too. The new driveway and brick walkway look great, but more importantly, the regrading and the new drainage pipe have greatly reduced the water issues we were having in the basement. We are thrilled!

I put this work off for a lot of years and one of the reasons was that I was afraid of getting lousy concrete work. After it was poured, these guys worked on the sidewalks and the apron for at least five hours. My neighbors can't believe how great the sidewalks look! DIO Construction understood exactly what I wanted for the driveway and the wall and all of that work turned out great too! DIO Construction is very professional. I highly recommend them.

We had a large tree stump that ruined our driveway and caused extensive buckling. Dio Construction did the job in two parts - first pulled up over the stump. Then once the stump was gone, came back to repave the whole surface. They added 2" of new asphalt to the entire driveway (large driveway and basketball area in back). We also had it extended on the side and back. It looks amazing and we can now use the driveway to access our garage. The grade of paving is perfect. The weather was challenging, but Dio Construction kept in contact with us and even worked with us on a deadline that we requested. Great company who we would work with again if the need arose.

Job went very well. Got quotes from several contractors. DIO was close to the best price, but Anthony was great at making suggestions to get the job done right, but save me some money. Job got done quickly and well. I would definitely hire DIO again.

Pat was exceptional to work with from the beginning to end. I can't sat enough good things about him and his company. Of the many contractors we had bid on the job, he was the only one that took the time to carefully evaluate our property, look at all the potential issues and provide a solution at the BEST cost. He was onsite everyday leading/instructing his team and available for every question we had. In talking I found out he is a veteran and been at this craft for almost 50 years which showed in the job and work ethic. Our driveway had two layers that were uneven, cracking and coming apart. Dio construction removed the old driveway, replaced and widened it, adding a channel drain and cobblestone border. The grading needed was not simple. Our land slopes towards our house and the to the left of our property. The channel drain needed to be installed to follow the grade, lower than our garage, but higher than the walkway at the end section to allow water flow. We also have a sewer clean out point that had to be accounted for in middle of the asphalt grading. Pat set the channel drain in concrete and contoured the asphalt as needed to for the correct grade. We have a one car entrance from the street that did not line up straight to our 2 car garage. The driveway was widened to allow cars to pull straight in and out of the garage but also needed to transition around a tree and landscape area we had near the corner of the driveway. We also needed to cut and remove a section of the existing paver walkway for the expansion. Pat and his team took all this into account with no issues. The cobble stone work was thought through as well. The cobblestone was set with a a taper towards the walkway for a smoother transition. Our driveway and front yard was completely transformed with this work. The grading was perfect. Upon completing payment, after the job was finished, he refunded us 5% back for an Angie's List discount which I completely forgot about. This is one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. One year later and the driveway looks and functions just as good as the day it was installed. Attention to detail, thoughtfulness, honesty, clear communication, promptness, did I say honest and attention to detail already?, and cost effective. Call no one else for your asphalt and concrete needs!

Mr. Dio personally provided the estimate, and designed the driveway based on our needs.  Mr. Dio and his team worked quickly and professionally to complete the project in less than a week.  They left the area clean and orderly, then called a week later to make sure I was happy with the work.  The concrete looks fantastic - my neighbors are constantly stopping to admire it!  

DIO Construction did a great job on our project. They poured concrete steps, a patio with a large sidewalk, and an apron and sidewalk at the street. They also repaired some stone walls. A couple weeks later they came back and paved a 150 foot driveway that adjoined the new concrete. I showed Anthony a drawing of the concrete work we wanted and he made it just like the drawing, right down to the inch. The concrete work is excellent. I expect it to last much longer than we will. During the concrete work there was an unexpected complication. A specialist from outside their company was on the scene within an hour. The problem was resolved the following day with no delay to the project. Anthony recommended a different contractor for the railing for the new steps. That contractor was responsive, fair, and did a beautiful custom job. The day the old blacktop was removed, it was done in a nearly surgical manner. The new blacktop was put down in the same way. The team always showed up when they said they would and maintained good communication. Anthony was patient with all my questions and limited any inconveniences to the absolute minimum possible. Pat and his son Anthony were a pleasure to deal with. They both were very accommodating and very professional. They did what they said, when they said they would, and for a fair price. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

Work was performed extremely satisfactorily. Showed up when promised and completed job in less that a day.

Dio construction performed the work described to a "T" and was willing to work with me on minor changes, aesthetics, etc. as the job progressed. They made suggestions to improve the layout, clarified any changes, and even recommended items outside of the job scope that I might want to consider (services they didn't offer). Each of my requests was met with the phrase above, "For you, we can do that!"
The crew showed up early, on time, and were respectful of my property. They cleaned up after themselves.They knew what they were doing, and there was no rework. They complied with all local permit and zoning laws.
The patio area and driveway look fantastic. I've already recommended them to my neighbor.

They arrived on the job Saturday and they ripe, crush and extend my driveway. They also torn the apron at the foot of the driveway and then pour new concrete for a new apron.  They finished that day and was told to wait two day before we can drive on it.

After a week they came back and pour asphalt and completed the job.

 All and All A great and professional job!!.
