I had an emergency repair to my wall which required star bolts to be installed. It required engineering drawings and permits to be filed with the city and DePiano General Contractors (through Joe DePiano) was able to help coordinate the project. Once the permits were acquired they were there the next day and completed the work within a week. I would recommend them for any construction related project, big or small.

To say that I’m happy that I found Joe is an absolute understatement. There is definitely a reason he has so many five star reviews. 

Before I met Joe, I hired a contractor to work on my house that I just purchased and… like the horror stories you have probably heard…this guy took a lot of my money and didn’t complete the job…then he was nowhere to be found. 

When Joe saw my house to give me an estimate, he didn't run. He fully explained all the ways he could help and he quoted a price that was very fair. And most importantly, when it came down to it, he delivered. He even fixed the poor electrical and plumbing work that the previous contractor had installed. But it doesn't stop there. Joe was always easy to reach and he always got back to me right away if I had any questions - although usually he had explained everything to me so thoroughly I didn't need to ask - he is literally on top of everything 24/7, before you even think about it. Joe and his team do whatever work they're doing throughly and efficiently. His attention to detail and the care he puts into his work (and how he treats his team) is something that's really hard to find nowadays. Joe is straightforward and trustworthy - I will definitely be calling him whenever I need work done in the future. You should too!


It wasn't so great, he did not adhere to any type of schedule, very late, the quality of the other work was extremely poor, products that I paid for and ordered were not delivered, the people he had working for him were not qualified, they never worked a whole week or a whole day, it was a disaster that I fired him in December and I had to get other people in to finish the job that he couldn't do and that cost me a lot more money. It took from June to December but it should have never taken that long. In fact, I have somebody here today finishing the work that I am still paying him for.

Job went as planned.  We ran into a few problems which they promptly handled.  This cost us approximately $5,000.00, which seemed reasonable.  We have recommended DePiano General Contractors to our friends and our family.

DePiano General Contractor's did an absolutely beautiful job remodeling my kitchen/ family room area.  I love it!!  The entire area is now opened up and the work was completed in a professional, timely manner.  When taking down some of the walls, I ran into unexpected issues that DePiano General Contractors promptly addressed (i.e.- moving duct work and electrical issues) and fixed for no additional charge.  They kept my home as neat and clean as possible during construction.  The workers were knowledgable and professional.  I am 100% satisfied with the company and the results I have in my home.
