Everything went very well. They cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous and efficient. They came out several times for service calls on my old furnace and they have always been prompt, courteous, and fixed it the first time. They call to schedule my maintenance calls and are always on time. I highly recommend them.

I had Meenan come in for a separate service call and the technician noticed that the oil tank was leaking slightly. I was in the process of selling my home and had two home inspections done. Neither indicated a problem with the oil tank so I am a little suspicious of the technician, especially since no mention was made about having an independent inspection of the oil tank done. However, I was trying to sell my home and decided it would be a good effort to have the tank replaced anyway. The tank was over 53 years old and certainly was not in the best state. Meenan does not do oil tank replacements themselves, instead they hire a subcontractor (Superior Tank & Energy). The service personnel arrived on-time and made fast work of the removal of the oil tank. No oil was spilled and no damage was done to my house. By mid-afternoon, they were done. The area was cleaned up and all piping in the basement was painted. The personnel were friendly and answered the several questions I had without appearing irritated. I was very happy with Superior Tank & Energy's work. I can't really rate the cost as I didn't get other estimates due to the time constraints imposed with selling my home. The bottom line: I wouldn't hesitate to contact Meenan for this work in the future but I would have liked to get some other estimates. I also would have liked to get an independent analysis of the oil tank to see if a replacement oil tank was actually needed. However, I suspect that even if the oil tank was ok, being that the oil tank was over 53 years old, it was due to be replaced soon and I rather replace the oil tank before a leak than have to worry about cleaning up an oil spill.

Meenan has been my furnace and air conditioning people forever. They have installed both my furnace and my central air. The technicians are all very helpful. The office staff is responsive. All work has been completed successfully, cleanly, and, when an emergency, quickly. My only complaint is that sometimes there is no one to answer the phones or if you're scheduling a regular appointment, it could be weeks before they can come to your home. But don't let that stop you from contacting them. I have never had bad service in 10+ years.
