S & D Renovations Inc.

We've used them many times in the past and we've always been pleased. They are very easy to work with. Things always come up during renovations, but we've always found this company to be very fair, and things were resolved well. The employees and subcontractors are all were very professions and I enjoyed having them in my home.

Two years ago, we had them bid on siding for the entire house. They ended up being higher, so we didn't use this company. However, the cheaper company ended up putting holes in the waste pipe, which in turn, caused damage to the house. We called S & D to do the repair work, so it would have been better and less stressful, to have had them to do it right originally.

S&D Renovations were in sync with my wife and I from the design/layout stage, thru construction and thru final inspection and accommodated change orders along the way.

It turned out fantabulous.

We are extremely satisfied with the work as completed and absolutely love our ceiling.  The snow and ice storms caused some delays but S & D did their absolute best to get the job done for us as quickly as possible.  The carpenters, Tom & Mel, did an excellent job especially since they had to cut all the wood in a very, very cold garage. Patrick, the project manager, was always available and stopped by regularly to make sure we were happy with the work being done. Once the ceiling had been installed the painter S & D works with, Ryan Hoxie, was kind enough to come out on a Saturday. He too did an excellent job.

I can not say enough good things about Steve Dorman and his crew and subcontractors. From our initial meeting with Steve about what we wanted, to meeting his architect, Gene, and the actual construction of our additon, everything went smoothly. Steve was very upfront about cost and never tried to "tack" things on the way some contractors can. Everything he uses is top of the line and the workmanship is stellar, whether it was his crew, his subs, or himself!  I saw him several times a week throughout the entire process and he emailed me almost every day with some type of update. His accountability is amazing. His crew was great too. Andy, the foreman was so easy to talk to and so pleasant about everything. Patrick was the same. The subs:  Scott (plumbing), Mark (electrician), Chris (painting), etc... alll very professional. The siding and roof guys did a top notch job. I have people compliment it all the time. So meticulous and high quality. There was someone at my house EVERY day doing something.  Not only was the work stellar but they cleaned up every single day after themselves.... even my neighbors were impressed with how pleasant and clean they were about everything. I would never use anyone else!!!!

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent.  Steve and his team of carpenters and subcontractors were complete professionals and didn't cut corners.  The communication between contractor and customer was also excellentIf something wasn't done to our satisfaction is was taken care of and didn't add to the cost.  They were neat, clean, and safe. 
We can not say enough about how great this company is and how they put the customer first.

S&D did a wonderful job.  Steve was great to work with and was very responsive to our calls and emails.  The work that was done was very professional and looks awesome.  They stuck to the schedule and completed on time.  Any issues were dealt with promptly.  They weren't the cheapest however I can't say enough about their professionalism and quality of their work.

I'm an Interior Designer, and had come in after S&D to decorate homes that they had renovated.  I loved the quality of their work, and so there was *no contest* as to who I would choose to do work on my house, when the time came. In the interest of "Due Dilligence" - I did call in a few other contractors for estimates. Another very good and reputable contracting company I had worked with before came in at almost twice the estimate!

They were on time and they did a wonderful job. They were great and they were very much punctual. We would very much use them again in the future.
